I'm hating Hiro Moshima at the moment.
I know Moshima never really kills off his characters and Gajeel is probably not gone, and he's probably coming back(I'm praying he's coming back), but still it's the fear that he may be gone riGHT AFTER HE CONFESSED TO LEVY SAYING HE WANTED TO BE WITH HER FOREVER! Hiro Moshima is a troll. I'm so mad at the moment, like HOW COULD HE DO THIS TO US!!!
HE WANTED A FAMILY WITH LEVY! HIRO MOSHIMA HOW CAN YOU JUST LEAVE US LIKE THIS?!?!?!!

Alright, I've calmed down enough to discuss the other part of this chapter. First off, Gajeel seems really scared to die . . . to lose Levy forever and that leads me to believe his character has had some serious domestic alteration and I'm really liking this new Gajeel, so. . . please don't be gone forever! Don't be gone!!!!!

. Also, that old guy, August, he knows who Natsu is. He at least has some idea, or he knows Natsu is important.

I'm wondering if Natsu is recognizing him too, like maybe they met at one point or maybe Natsu jut acknowledges him as a strong opponent. I mean, he knew Wendy too . . .

He knew her, like I think at some point all the dragon slayers had met up, and were told to remember each other kind of save the world type deal.
*SPOIL ALERT*******
While I'm ranting, I also believe it was the Eclipse that killed Lucy's mother. It was passed down Lucy's mom's family to open the portal 400 years later to allow the dragon slayers to pass from their original time into the future, this current time, on the year x777. And on Lucy's mom's grave, it says she died in the year x777.
According to the anime (I wasn't reading the manga yet at this point) Lucy's mother suddenly became sick and retired from being a mage, and later died. I don't think it was just some 'illness' though, her death was likely from over using her magic powers, (Magic inside mage=mage's life force), by opening the Eclipse gate she used up her magic power. The reason Lucy didn't die from closing the gate in this time was because she couldn't use up her magic power, it was separated between both her and another celestial mage. Also, Lucy's mother didn't have all 12 celestial spirits helping her, from what we know, she only had three of the gold zodiac keys.

Also, I'm really hoping Natsu has some character development really soon, like he's been acting real normal despite the fact he was told who he was and who is last living family member is. I'm curious as to see how he'll react when the guild finds out, (The guild will find out. I have no doubts). I'm also wondering if that means Natsu has two personalities, Zeref said it will either be Natsu or END, but Zeref also made sure to say that it was Natsu himself who was END.
