But before I go on hiatus I thought I'd give you this . :)

(You guys are so lucky i found inspiration this morning and that I felt bad about leaving. Still do).

As requested, Tratie.

----

Travis was bored.

He hated being bored. He hated caves. He hated quests. He hated guard duty. He hated the inky darkness and the way the shadows seemed to creep closer. He especially hated two certain people who were sleeping while he had to wait it out.

Travis shivered, wishing he could get into his own warm sleeping bag. The sleeping bags were ingenious. Leo had designed them. They were lightweight and could be expanded from a key chain, making it possible for them to be carried on quests.

Well Travis wouldn't know how warm they were. He'd drawn the short straw and gotten first shift, thanks to Connor's muddling.

If I hadn't been so distracted...

"Katieeee," Travis whispered in her ear, kneeling beside the raven-haired girl. She was muttering things in her sleep, tendrils of hair escaping her plait. She stirred but didn't wake, which for some reason made him grin wickedly. Travis pulled a grotesque face, moving so he was mere inches from her.

"Katie!" He exclaimed, a lot louder then before. "Someone killed your plants!"

Her eyes flew open, but instead of her screaming like Travis expected, Katie just rolled her eyes.

"Katie you have something, there." Travis said, pointing to a spot just under her chin (That wasn't hidden by the sleeping bag). Katie looked down, which just made him flick her in the nose.

Katie angrily elbowed him in the gut, but all that managed to do was send him crashing down on top of her.

"What's goin' on?" Connor asked groggily, half-raising his head from under his blanket.

"Nothing." Travis managed, trying to untangle himself from Katie.

"Hmmmm yeah. Alex Daddario." Connor mumbled, falling back to sleep.

Katie and Travis bit back their laughter. It was hard to contain when he started to snore.
Connor muttered something about Hades' gym shorts and the two lost it. By the time their laughter had died down Katie's plait was severely skewed to the side and her cheeks were flushed. Travis' curly hair was mussed and he was half-lying on the cold ground clutching his stomach.

"My turn on guard duty?" Katie asked, sounding a lot less stern than normal.

Travis turned to answer her question. He froze. Katie's face was really inches from his this time. She didn't look sleepy now.

He fumbled over his answer, managing a "yes" that was an octave higher than usual.

Smooth Travis, real smooth.

Travis' thoughts went wild, his ADHD catching on every little detail. Katie smelt like sunflowers and citrus. Connor was snoring away in his peripheral vision. Katie was exactly three centimeters away. Her eyes were even prettier up close. She was leaning closer... His thoughts stopped immediately when he felt a pair of lips against his own.

He let out a surprised sound, but did nothing to break the kiss. His eyes fluttered shut, his hands winding into her hair...

"Travis are you alright?"

"Why wouldn't I be Connor?"

"Because you've been trying to put your shoe on the wrong foot for ten minutes."

Travis attention turned to his converse. Indeed he was. Cursing his mental state, he eventually managed to put his shoes on the right feet. It wasn't his fault you see, he was rather distracted.

Travis' eyes caught Katie's and she smiled not-so-innocently, turning his brain to mush yet again.

"Sorry I was distracted."
