Percabeth

 

"Perseus Jackson get your demigod butt back here right now, before I stab you!" Annabeth yelled, chasing after him.

Percy, despite how slow he was at foot racing was already ahead, and too close to the water to boot. He flashed his signature smile and saluted, before flipping into the water.

Annabeth stomped over to the dock, cursing in Ancient Greek.

"I don't care if you're the son of Poseidon, you can't stay down there forever! Mark my words I will find a way to get to you, even if it means I have to bribe the naiads!"

Annabeth got no answer, just the faint sound of water lapping, as if even the tiniest ripples were taunting her. She knelt down on the hard wooden boards, glaring into the lake. "I'm giving you exactly three seconds to get back up here."

Percy:

I could see a watery image of my beautiful, but very angry girlfriend. From where I was treading water, just beneath the surface I could see her was leaning over the edge of the dock, her pretty grey eyes searching for me. She even had her dagger out. Oh Styx. I knew she would find a way to get to me, she wasn't the smartest child of Athena for nothing.

"One." She said loudly, angrily, in the exact same voice she used when I called her a dumb blonde.

(A long and painful story. I suggest you never do it. Ever.)

"Two."

Now would be a good time to face her and hopefully I would still be alive afterwards. Because honestly, as much as I loved her, she still scared me to pieces.

"Thr-" Annabeth never finished the word because before she could, I used my powers to rocket me out of the lake and kissed her full on the mouth.

"I'm so sorry. I won't do it ever again I promise." I pleaded, before she could say anything.

Annabeth studied me for a while, her grey eyes steely.

"Fine Seaweed Brain, I forgive you. But if you EVER do it again I swear I'll get Clarisse on you." She huffed, kissing me again before sheathing her knife and walking off.

I will never hide Annabeth's laptop again.
