Flashback
I run to that dog who was lying motionlessly on the ground and it stands up to greet me. How sweet! I knew it was something special. I pick it up in arms and give it a cuddle. It was adorable and the condition it was in now was horrible. I bring it back home. I beg Mum and Dad to let me keep it. The answer was a big, fat NO. After my continuous begging and giving no's, Mum was tired and left the room.
After Mum left, I remembered Dad's words, "I would have let you have it but Mum doesn't like dogs and you do know that, sweetie. Why do this to her? Come on, cheer up, Bella. I don't want you to be sad and soggy all day. Fine, we'll take it to the animal shelter, alright?" This made me happy because any idea came to my brain and I knew for sure that it was going to work.
Present Day
I look at Lucky's grave again and grieved over it more and more. It was all my fault. I was the one who did it all. I brought him to that mall. Why did I ever do that? I ask myself, this question numerous times but never happen to find the answer to it.
