Unexpected Journey

Chrapter 2- A Dark Start

Autumn, Genna, Hanna and Marla tried shouting over each other, thinking it would get Isaiah to pass it to them instead of the others. He looked around and threw it to Hannah. She saw the frisbee coming toward her and backed up to catch it. Not looking behind herself she fell over and just like that, she was gone.

Everyone stared at the scene, but no one knew what to do. Marla walked towards the area with cation and the rest followed very closely behind. As they got closer, inch by inch, the vibes got worse and by the time they got there everyone was terrified, because right in front of them was the biggest hole any of them have ever seen.

"What the heck?!", Genna shouted "How did this get here?"

"The question is where's Hanna?" Marla shouted back, bearing a worried look.

All the angry words got Isaiah too and he also started shouting "Where do you think?! She's in the hole!"

"Well I'm going in" Genna marched toward the hole with the intention of saving Hannah.

"Wait!" Autumn screamed as she ran to jump in "I'm coming with you"

The rest followed and in a few screams and falls they were all down in the hole. There was a long tunnel and Hannah was nowhere to be found. It was a one way journey and at this point everyone wore their fear on their sleeves: shaking, jumping, alert with wide eyes, and unable to speak as the thoughts of what might have happened to their dear friend sank in.

As they reached the end of the tunnel they all saw a bright, colorful light. When they got even closer they could make out something. It was Hannah.

Genna screamed, almost squealed, with excitement "Oh, thank goodness you're alive"

"Oh my gosh," Isaiah breathed, "don't scare me like that, I almost had a heart attack"

Genna and Autumn ran and gave her a big hug, but Hannah didn't respond. She just shrugged them off and walked away.

Marla looks up at the glowing orbs and doesn't know what to say about it. No one knew what they were at all, but everyone is thinking the same exact thing she is.

Isaiah sees that Hannah is also staring at them,"These things must be doing something to her," with a long pause and then again speaks for everyone,"but what are they?"
