Three friends Genna, Marla and Autumn were walking to the park for a girls day and to meet their friend Hannah. They were so excited to catch up with what was going in their summers. Marla stops in surprise right before they get there seeing someone that she knows playing on the courts next to the park.
"Hey isn't that Isaiah, over there?", Marla said, pointing in his direction.
Autumn looks where Marla is pointing "Yeah I think you're right!", she exclaimed, "You wanna go say 'hi' to him?"
"Yeah it'll be fun to see him again", Marla said smiling bright to see her friend.
The group walked up to the basketball courts to the sight of Isaiah trying to shoot hoops by himself. As the girls got to him, Isaiah was too distracted with getting a basket, that he didn't even notice the girls. They all noticed this and just stood there watching for a few seconds. When he finally made one in he cheered himself. Marla, Genna and Autumn thought this was so funny that they cheered too, saying "Yeah! Go Isaiah" and "You da best" Isaiah heard what they were shouting and stopped in surprise.
Isaiah turned to look at the girls "Oh man! How long were you standing there?!?", he questioned.
"Long enough, old friend," Genna sighed "long enough", Genna said with a smirk "This is how Ya shoot hoops" Next they all knew the ball goes in first try. Marla gave a little chuckle while Autumn tried to hold it in to be polite.
"Ugh! Anyways besides cheering my awesome skills, what are you all doing here?"
"Oh, We're waiting for Hannah for a little get together!"
"Um... She's right behind you, if you didn't know, look!", he pointed through them.
The girls looked back with glee. They see walking up behind them is Hannah. Marla is over joy to see an old friend and so was Autumn, but no one was more excited than Genna to see her best friend. They all ran for a group hug, looking at each other with smiles.
"Hey guys", Hannah said "so you guys are with Isaiah? Is he joining us this time around?"
Each of the girls looked at each other for a second. All turned back st Hannah. Both Autumn and Marla said yes to this idea, Genna felt differently because it was a girls day after all. Two out of three and the whole group stayed in the park and played catch with a frisbee. They all played for the longest time, laughing with care free faces.
Isaiah caught the frisbee "Okay! Who wants it next?", he shouted out to the others
