Hope stared down at her homework assignment for Ancient Runes as she sat on one of the common room sofas in front of the fireplace. With her knitted quilt resting over her lap, and her Ancient Runes Made Easy book open beside her, she was reviewing over a runic script when Henry arrived with his textbooks.

"About time." Hope said not looking up from her work. "What took you so long, I was beginning to think you drowned during your shower."

"I like my shower time. Okay?" Henry said before shaking his hair out before her, allowing a few droplets to hit her in the face.

"Lovely." she said before wiping her face. "Well, at least you don't stink."

"And my hair smells delicious and I look immaculate."

"Ooh look at you, using sophisticated vocabulary. Two points to Henry." she said with a slow clap. He made a face at her before plopping down beside her, knocking her book to the floor.

"Ooops."

"Pick. It. Up."

"Don't you give me the badger face!" he scolded her.

"Don't give me the puppy eyes!"

He pulled her blanket away from her with a mischievous grin.

"Henry, you know that if you do anything to that quilt, I will destroy you." she threatened. Henry looked down and realized it was Hope's blanket that she had slept with shortly after her birth, made by her mother. It was her nap quilt, full of plenty of memories making her very protective over the blanket.

He quickly placed it back down.

"Right, didn't know it was that blanket." he said giving her leg a pat and sat back down. "Truce?"

She narrowed her eyes at him before she smiled. "Truce. Now can we finish this assignment before we have to head to the Astronomy Tower tonight?"

"Yes, yes. " he said opening up his book. He looked down at the assignment and quickly closed his book back over. "Nope, Nope."

"Henry!" She opened his book back up and placed parchment paper in his lap."There you go. Get started."

Henry let out a loud whine that didn't resemble any type of human noise that Hope had ever heard.

"What in the world was that?" she asked him.

Henry cleared his throat and shrugged. "I dunno, must be merfolk related."

"That didn't sound very mermaid like, you sounded like a dying whale.'

"Thanks."

"Anytime. Now more writing, less whining."

Henry and Hope loved Astronomy for the laid back atmosphere of the class, especially since Sirius was the professor. But the two knew all of Sirius' star jokes and puns so well that they could go through all of them before Sirius even had a chance to start up the class.

"I love this class but it's so hard." Hope said. "Astronomy just goes right over my head."

"Ha." Henry laughed flatly. "I'm sorry Hope, but I think we need our space."

Hope pouted at him. "Why so Sirius?"

"I guess you can say I'm like the moon and I'm just going through a phase."

"Not the dark side!"

"I'm afraid so, I'm sorry, I didn't planet."

"I have no comet for you!" she turned her back to him. "All along I thought you were something spacecial. But I was wrong."
