***Y/L/N Estate***

The night rolled around faster than Lauren had anticipated. Gorgeous, romantic, red rose petals we're scattered around the floor and soft music played in the background, filling the quiet house with the right mood.

Y/N had mentioned wanting the date to be special, but this seemed over the top to Lauren who wasn't accustomed to feeling so desired and appreciated. She'd gone out of her way over the last few hours to ensure that Lauren was well taken care of.

“Miss Jauregui," that soft, husky voice called from the bottom of the steps, sending chills down Lauren's spine. “You look absolutely breathtaking tonight."

“Thank you. I hoped I would like it since you picked the dress out."

It was a gold sequenced Tommy Hilfiger dress with a black strip around the waist of the dress. It stopped right above her knees and hugged her curves in all the right places.

Y/N chuckled and adjusted the black bomber jacket hugging her shoulders. She sported a white Polo club shirt underneath her jacket, a pair of black skinny legged jeans, and a pair of white and black sandals. She looked impressively beautiful.

“Come on, I set everything up on the roof."

“T-the roof?" Lauren asked nervously, her fear of heights increasing as they walked towards the elevators.

“Don't worry," Y/N reassured, taking Lauren's hand into hers. Both girls could feel the sparks fly as their fingers connected, the feelings growing more and more intense by the second. “It's a flat surface. I promise you won't fall. If you do I'll be right there to catch you."

“I'll be right there to catch you." Lauren replayed Y/N's words over and over again in her head as they stood in comfortable silence, waiting for the elevator to take them to the roof.

What were Y/N's motives behind tonight? Was she expecting something in return? Was this something she always did with her female partners? Why me?

“Babe," Y/N smiled from ear-to-ear as she gently shook Lauren out of her seemingly never ending thoughts, gesturing towards the moonlight picnic set up of the roof of the mansion.

There were white and red colored rose petals scattered about in various assortments around the ground. Champagne chilled in an ice bucket on a table near a traditional red and white picnic blanket surrounded by soft white pillows. Various sorts of exotic fruits and sandwiches sat freshly prepared in the middle of the blanket, Lana Del Rey's soft voice singing “Blue Jeans" in a iPod dock nearby.

“Do you like it baby? I was hoping you wouldn't think it was too much." Y/N rambled nervously.

“What?" She asked in adorable confusion as Lauren stared at her in amusement and sentimentality.

“You called baby, twice."

“Oh, sorry I won't don't it again." Y/N blushed, letting go of Laurens hand she subconsciously held on the way up from the elevators.

“No, it's kind of endearing." Y/N gave her a soft, affectionate smile and guided her towards the midnight picnic, this time being fully aware of how perfectly Lauren's hand fit with hers.
