“You can't escape your past. We'll ALWAYS BE HERE!"

“Yeah, think about how you RUINED our lives. All we wanted was a little fun. Now we can't have a family, we can't graduate, we can't do ANYTHING! You're a MURDERER Y/N and you're going straight to hell!"

“You think she's gonna stay around forever huh? You're so damn NAIVE it's almost worth pitying. She's going to abandon you after the realization kicks in that you're a LOW LIFE, the SCUM of the earth."

“Y/N, Y/N wake up! Baby WAKE UP!" Brown eyes immediately shot open, her body trembling with fear and exasperation. Her body was covered in an ungodly amount of sweat and her breathing was more labored than a golden retriever who'd just visited the dog park. She was instantly met with tired, worried green eyes when her vision cleared, those same green eyes she was almost CERTAIN would leave her one day.

“You were having a nightmare. Do you feel better now?" Y/N nodded and readjusted herself on the small couch in Lauren's living room. The green eyed girl insisted, somewhat BEGGED her new found friend to share her bed with her, but Y/N chose the couch to keep her distance should she pop a boner through the night or wake up with a nightmare - which she had.

“I-I'm fine. I d-didn't mean to wake you."

“Are you sure you don't wanna come back to my room with me?" The brown eyed girl nodded, exhaling a shaky breath as she laid back down, the memories of her past flashing through her closed eyelids.

“Well how about a shower? They always help me when I can't sleep."

“W-what like T-TOGETHER?" Y/N asked in a haze of sleepiness and confusion.

“O-oh, well that's not TECHNICALLY what I meant. But I wouldn't uh, if it wouldn't you know, be - wow, this is AWKWARD." Lauren nervously smiled, standing up from the edge of the couch.

“It was just a suggestion. If you want the showers upstairs, first door on your left." The brown eyed girl couldn't help but notice Lauren's gaze on her tattoo and gave her an equally awkward smile, turning her front into the cushions so her tattoo wouldn't be visible.

With a somewhat embarrassed and defeated sigh, Lauren trudged back up the stairs, wondering if she'd ever FULLY have Y/N's trust. She knew they were about as opposite as the north and south and knew almost nothing about each other, but she was hoping her kindness would've gotten her a step further in her attempt to win Y/N over. So far, the closest she'd gotten was a small smile over dinner. Not much, but it was SOMETHING to go on.

Figuring Y/N wouldn't take her up on her offer, she decided to relax herself with a quick shower, hoping the hot water would rid her of the nerves and  embarrassment she felt. She stripped herself of the boy shorts and tank top she wore, feeling a bit relieved as the hot water heated her tense skin.

She was halfway through scrubbing her back when a soft, FIRM hand grabbed the loofa from her hands, gently rubbing the remnants of the soap on her skin into her back. A gasp left her lips at the initial feeling of Y/N's hands on her skin and when realization hit that Y/N had accepted her invitation and joined her in the shower, she felt a sense of pride and relief. She was closer than she'd thought.

“I hope you don't mind," her low, attention grabbing voice filled Lauren's ears, causing a wave of heat to spike between her legs. “I didn't want you to think I was PURPOSEFULLY acting like an ass towards you, but you kind of make me nervous. I feel like this is a dream or something where I'll wake up and you'll realize I'm a FELON at the age of twenty."

“Hey," Lauren turned in Y/N's arms, cupping the finely shaped, somewhat SCULPTED looking face she had. “I don't think you're a FELON at all. You're a woman with a past and who am I to judge? You're going to wake up tomorrow and I'll STILL like you for who you are." Lauren took the initiative, finding the moist plumpness of Y/N's lips to hard to resist. Her fingers lightly grazed the tattoo under her eye, gently kissing the tears before lowering herself enough to kiss her waiting lips.

Y/N held Lauren tightly in her arms, wanting to remember the feel of Lauren's warm body against hers. She hadn't felt THIS aroused by a woman in three years, and after her experience in prison, she was sure she'd never WANT to. But along came a vivacious, exuberant, charismatic, and empathic Lauren Jauregui who seemed to be God's reward to her for accepting what she'd done and for not shying away from the truth.

“You're an ANGEL Lauren Jauregui. An absolutely PERFECT angel."

“Can we sleep together now?" Y/N's eyes perked up, giving Lauren a ready nod as an answer.

“Not like horn dog. At least NOT YET. You'd have to take me on a date first."

“Ahh, so you'd fuck me after our first date? Sweet, how about next Saturday? It'll give me enough time to come up with some money to PROPERLY take you out."

“I'd love to go on a date with you next Saturday, on one condition; you're getting in that bed with me tonight. I need a cuddle buddy."

The brown eyed girl chuckled and gave the green eyed girl a fake salute, her eyes quickly gazing over Lauren's body as she stepped out of the shower.

Next Saturday had come on a bright, sunny morning despite the cold winds of New York's atmosphere without warning. Lauren snuggled what she thought was Y/N closer to her until she realized she thing she was cuddling was SOFTER than normal, not at ALL as warm as Y/N, and covered in a small puddle of drool.

With a confused sigh, Lauren tossed her pillow to the side and laid on her back, wondering where Y/N was or if she was ever coming back.

They'd gotten somewhat closer over the course of the past week, even if things were sometimes tense with conversations regarding Y/N's family and her strange yet oddly arousing anatomy. The brown eyed girl HATED when she woke up with her morning wood pressed firmly into Lauren's thigh, begging for action she couldn't - or rather wouldn't - give it. Lauren on the other hand absolutely LOVED the feeling of Y/N's thick shaft pressed so TIGHTLY into her backside. There were times Lauren felt she was literally THROWING herself at Y/N, and of course the thought of coming across as desperate and cheap didn't sit right with her. Lauren had ALWAYS been a direct person, subtly and playing hard to get not one of her greater qualities.

Glancing towards her nightstand, the green eyed girl's small frown slowly quirked up at a neatly folded note with a single red rose on top.

“Sorry I won't be there when you wake up, I had some business to take care of with my grandmother across town. I won't be back until seven thirty, which is when I'll take you on our date. Oh yeah, and if your neighbor asks, the rose was purchased from the florist shop on 69th Street! Until tonight love! ❤

Sincerely,

Y/N

Lauren smiled to herself, inhaling the sweet scent of her neighbors stolen rose before climbing out of bed, letting the cool morning air sweep over her bare feet. She had all day to prepare for her date, and was determined to make the most of it.
