Knocked Up: Part Three
“Don't you look beautiful tonight?" The ocean eyed girl complimented the service girl she was currently swooning over. It had been a little over three weeks since their last encounter, and both girls were incredibly happy that they finally had some extra time on their hands between their busy schedules.
“Thank you. I missed you last week. We were supposed to get together then."
“I know and I'm sorry Lauren. Being in the fashion industry isn't as glamorous as people make it out to be. So much shit came up last week it was ridiculous. But I'm here now okay?" The green eyed girl nodded and avoided Y/N's growing concern. There was a noticeable difference between them, and only Lauren knew what it was.
When she approached Dinah with the news yesterday, she was met with Dinah's concern for her best employee. “She doesn't know does she?"
Lauren felt ashamed as she shook her head. There was no excuse for Y/N not to know. She knew the ocean eyed girl had gone through drastic measures to get her number, so there were always opportunities and there were always chances.
“I'm sad to be loosing you," Dinah admitted. “You've definitely given my club a good rep in these streets. You'll sort of always be more of a friend than a former employee Lauren Jauregui, but you're going to have to own up to this and tell Y/N. She's never been in this type of situation before, so I don't know how she'll react. But it won't be pretty if she finds out from someone else."
“Hey," Y/N nudged Lauren's shoulders and gazes into distant green eyes. She'd never seen Lauren like this before and it was starting to scare her. “What's wrong Lauren? You don't seem like yourself. Did I do something?"
“Yes," Lauren wanted to say. “You and you're amazing dick got me pregnant."
“No, you didn't do anything. There's just a lot going on right now." Normally, Y/N wasn't much of an affectionate person, but Lauren seemed like she needed it, and this was Lauren Jauregui — a woman she'd paid a hundred thousand dollars for just for her number.
“Talk to me," they sat on Y/N's bed, limbs entangled and bodies close. There was a lot of media attention surrounding Y/N at the moment, so they opted not to go out and chose to stay at home and do something simple — like a regular couple would've. “It's no fun being with someone who's hurting and you can't do anything about it. Tell me, maybe I can help."
“You have to promise not to get mad." Lauren knew hat sentence was a gateway to a developing argument bound to happen, but she decided to tale her chances. She wasn't going to hold anything back anymore, especially since this might be the last time she sees Y/N.
“Laur — okay fine. I won't get mad. What happened? What did you do?"
“It's more like what we did. It happened about three weeks ago."
