Company: Part Two
“Y-you're y-you're here! I'm — I'm not dreaming!"
“Of course not baby. I'm here, here to keep you company forever."
“I missed you so much baby!" My wife closed the door with her foot seeing as I wouldn't let her go and guided us into the living room where our son had waken up, cranky from the disturbance of his nap.
“Aww son, you have no idea how much I missed you and your mom." She was so incredibly good with Noah even though she hadn't been home in over a year. He stopped crying almost instantly at her touch and stared at his mom in wonder.
“Don't cry beautiful. I'm here now and I'm not going back." She promised as she carefully placed Noah back in his crib and tended to me. I still hadn't accepted the fact that she was standing right in front of me. And then she pressed her cold, soft lips against mine, and in that moment I could've fainted in her arms. We kissed like the world would end in a few hours, and kissing each other would make the pain lessen.
“I missed that so much in Kuwait. Among other things." She smirked, running her hands down the slope of my body until she reached my ass. There was the amatory wife I married straight out of high school.
“I missed you in that way too. God, I just missed you baby." I kissed her again, pressing my body flush against hers. She moved her arms from around my waist as I tugged at the collar of her air force jacket and let it fall to the floor, my hands grabby for more and more of her and less of her constricting clothes.
“Mmm, before we embark on that conquest all night, I got you an early Christmas present in Kuwait. Here, open this." She pulled a small black velvet box out of one of the many pockets of her army pants and placed it in my hand.
“Baby, I-I didn't get you anything this year. I didn't know — "
“Neither did I. We didn't find what we were looking for in Kuwait and the U.S. Embassy signed a peace treaty with them saying that they wouldn't return as long as Kuwait promised not to send anymore threats our way. It's okay that you didn't get me anything this year. Just being home with you is merry enough for me. But really, open the box."
I gasped at the sight of a newer, green diamond encrusted ring. It was similar to the one I'd wanted when Y/N and I first got engaged. Only she couldn't afford it on a rookie's starting salary in the Army.
“I remember you wanting a ring similar to this when I first proposed," she smiled, taking the ring out of the box and replacing the old one with the new one. “Of course I couldn't afford it at the time, but being promoted in the Armed forces gave me a little extra to spend on you. Merry early Christmas baby." She kissed me more passionately this time, lifting me up with her strong arms and walking towards the nearest durable surface which happened to be the couch. My legs subconsciously wrapped around her waist and tugged down until she was laying flat on top of me.
“Aren't I crushing you?" She laughed, attempting to take some of the weight off of me. I didn't want her to. I wanted to feel every inch of her for as long as I could stand the compressed feeling. “How about this?" She rolled us over, practically landing us both on the floor. I was now on top of her, with my body resting in between her parted legs. I liked this position a lot better. I leaned down and attached my lips to the side of her neck, enjoying the faint sounds of pleasure and the squeezing motions she placed on my body.
