Y/N?" Lauren asked curiously.
“Yeah?" Y/N asked, a bit more cautious about her words.
“Kiss me."
Y/N was at a loss for words. The arts major could normally put any of her emotions whether verbal or physical into SOME sort of action, but this - this just wasn't fair.
“Y/N?" The green eyed girl placed her hand on the blue eyed girl's shoulder, bringing her back from her mindless, wandering thoughts.
“Yeah?" She could practically TASTE the Cappuccino Espresso with two pumps of caramel and vanilla on Lauren's breath as she leaned in, softly connecting their lips together before pulling away just as quickly.
“Say something." Lauren whimpered, on the verge of tears at the impending rejection she was SURE Y/N was about to put her through.
“T-that was my FIRST kiss." She muttered.
“Oh," Lauren felt even WORSE. She was going to be rejected AND had stolen Y/N's first kiss. COULD THIS NIGHT GET ANY WORSE?
“And I had always hoped," ‘Here it comes' Lauren thought. “It would be WITH YOU." ‘Well at least she let me down - Wait, WHAT?'
“You wanted ME to be your first kiss? Why?" Y/N flashed Lauren a priceless smile, taking her smaller hands into her own.
“Because," she sighed as if she had all the time in the world now. Like that two second kiss with Lauren somehow altered how she viewed everything. “I'd already had world's BIGGEST crush on you. You're so well spoken and beautiful it hurts. And it hurts that you were with HIM. I wanted you to be my first kiss to show you just what you do to me. You make me feel fireworks and butterflies. You've held the key to my heart for nearly TWO years now. How could I NOT want to share that with you?"
“You should change your major," Lauren whispered as her lips ghosted over Y/N's. “Because NO amount of art could show the world just how COMPASSIONATE, HONEST, and LOVEABLE you are."
“I'm loveable?" Y/N smiled.
“More than you'll probably EVER know." And with that, Y/N found the courage to tangle her fingers in Lauren's hair, bringing the green eyed love of her life down for the second greatest experience she was she'd ever had.

“Are you going home for the holiday's?" Blue eyes locked with equally content green eyes as they finished the last episode of Teen Wolf: Season Three.
“No, I couldn't find an airline ticket fast enough, and I'm short a few presents for everyone only working part time. What about you?"
“Same here. Besides that, I don't think I'd even WANT to go home if I could. My parents were stereotypical and judgmental towards everything that dared defy the laws of ANYTHING. I moved away from them in hopes of not seeing them as much anymore."
“Well since we're both going to be alone for the holidays, can we be alone together?" Lauren laughed at the corniness of Y/N's joke, but nodded, wanting nothing more than to spend a few days alone with Y/N.
“Of course we can. And for the record, that sounded like something out of a cheesy Nicholas Sparks movie." It was Y/N's turn to laugh this time.
“Really? I was thinking I'd quoted John Green PERFECTLY."
“You're too much."
Both girls laid curled up next to each other in a peaceful silence before Lauren's phone rang, Brad's name appearing on the screen. Lauren's happiness always seemed to fade at the sight or thought of Bradley fucking Williams.
“Hello?" She answered uninterestedly, making no attempt to pull away from the blue eyed girl who figured she ought to have some privacy.
“Lauren where the HELL are you?" Bradley's loud, drunken voice screamed through the earpiece on Lauren's phone.
“Why? It's not like YOU get to dictate where I am all the time. I'm with someone, and I'm HAPPY." Lauren knew Y/N was trying her hardest not to eavesdrop, but the small, sly grin that was plastered across her lips gave her away a little.
“I KNEW YOU WERE FUCKING CHEATING ON ME!"
“Whatever Brad, I have to go."
“LAUREN, don't you dare - "
CALL DROPPED.
“I'm guessing that was Brad?" Y/N smiled, wrapping Lauren in her arms as she fell into her lap, her cheeks flushed red with laughter.
“Uhm no, that was my MOM actually. And we just broke up." Y/N's smile fell from her lips, a frown taking the place.
“I'm sorry Lauren. I know what that prick meant to your reputation and everything."
“Honestly Y/N? I don't CARE about my reputation anymore. If it means I'm stuck with him, I'd HAPPILY give it all away."
“Wow, being with him was THAT bad huh?"
Green eyes shrugged, relaxing herself into Y/N's embrace. She noticed the familiar dragonfly outline of Y/N's 3D model and smiled.
“Well he's never dedicated his art project to me before. And ANYONE who can dedicate half their grade to me is someone I know I belong with."
“YOU'D go out with me? Why?"
“Because you aren't just ANYBODY. You're not a cheap thrill or a one night stand. You based your project off my tattoo to my grandmother. And I based mine off of you too. I've NEVER dedicated one of my old projects to Brad and of course I was never planning to. You aren't as ordinary as you think you are; You're a WORK OF ART Y/N."
