Sarah Williams' POV
"Sarah. Sarah please snap out of it." I was pleading with Sarah Everild. That guy who had taken us, Vailan it had turned out, had long since gone after telling Sarah the news. She had been in a dazed state ever since.
"I'm pregnant." She mumbled over and over again, as if the information had not yet sank in.I walked over to sit beside her, and placed my hand on hers. She looked down at my wrists, which were still cut and bruised from the chains we had been bound in. She touched one finger to the blue and purple skin and a sharp pain shot through my hands. When I looked back down, the bruises had gone.
"How...." I stated, but she answered my question before I could fully ask it.
"My magic may be limited by the room were in, but it is not non existent." She grinned, the kind of grin that was so like that of Jareth, that it scared me.
"So... pregnant?" I asked. I didn't really want to go... there... but chouriusity over took me.She nodded her reply.
"You seem surprised. I mean if your pregnant, then you guys must have..."I trailed off. The topic of the conversation we were on making me slightly uncomfortable. I mean, it's not like sex isn't somthing we talk about in the above ground. But this was different, Sarah was me... and with Jareth. .. it was all a little strange.
"Well yeah... but... I shouldn't be able..." She stopped, as if trying to find a delicate way of putting it.
"Your infirtile. You can't have kids." I finished it for her.
"You too?" She asked, and I nodded my reply.
"So you see why I can't have kids." She said it as more of a statement than a question.I was about to answer, but there was a sudden sharp pain in my head. It was like it was being torn apart. I yelled out in pain and Sarah reached out for me. She asked what was wrong with me but her words fell deffly on my ears. All I could think about was the pain in my head.
Then there was a voice saying my name. A voice I recognised.
"Roselea?" I asked aloud to the room around me, leaving Sarah with a confused look. I looked to the side and sure as life, I could see her. Sarah followed my gaze and skewed her face up in confusion before looking back to me.
"Sarah what is it?" She asked, shaking me slightly. 'She can't see me. I made a delvian nuero link.' Now that she mentioned it, her voice did sound like it was in my head.
"It's Roselea. She's made some kind of mental link with me." I told Sarah in an attempt to clear things up. She looked at me confused for a moment then nodded her understanding.
"Jareth. Ja... calm down I'll ask." Roselea asked as if she was being bombarded with questions.
"Is Sarah Everild with you?" Roselea asked me.
"You can't see her?" I looked between Sarah and my minds projection of Roselea.
"No. I can only see and hear you."
"Oh. She can only see and hear me." I told Sarah, knowing that she would like to be kept in the conversation.
"Yeah she's here. Actually she's..."I stopped when Sarah started waving her arms around.
"Don't say anything." She said, pointing at her stomach.
"Sarah?" Roselea asked.
"Earm... yeah. She's here, she's fine." I summed up. Roselea looked at me confused for just a moment, then nodded and continued.
"Do you know where you are?" She asked hopefully.I shook my head and her face saddened for a moment, but then picked back up in to its useual smile. The pain momentarily returned and I fell to my side where, thankfully, Sarah Everild caught me.It seams Roselea felt it too, because she also collapsed, but was caught by Jareth. Which one I wasn't sure, but Sarah was.
