Roselea's POV

"You can't be here." I snapped at him.

My attempt of appearing braver than I felt coming off nicely.

"Given my current presence in front of you, I would say that statement is a false one." He replied, a wicked grin flashing across his face.

A face, I was rather repulsed to see. In addition to the scar under his right eye that my father gave him last year, he now had a large one up the other side of his face, crossing his eye, which was now milky white.

I looked down to see his arms which were also covered in scars, the long thin kind what rather strangely wrapped around his arms, from bottom to top, then disappeared under the sleeve, leaving you to believe they continued upward.

My theory was confirmed when he tilted his head to the side, revealing the light scars under the edge of his collar. He took a step forward, and I backed off, not wanting to get any closer to him than I had to, but just as I stepped back, a wall of fire erupted behind me, causing me to yelp and leap to the side to avoid both the fire, and him.He let out a dry laugh, and gave me a sideways glare.

"What's the matter?" He asked.

"Put off by my scars? Funny how that works isn't it."

I didn't want to say anything as I was worried my voice wouldn't hold up.He let out another dry laugh, and flashed me that creepy smile again.

"Not so brave when daddy's not here to save you are we?"

This was it, I had to stick up for myself or I was going to loose this fight.

"What do you want?.... Flare."

Hi guys,

Sorry this is short and it has been such a long time, I have been really stretched for time lately.

Anyway, I hope to get back to updating more regularly.
