Daddy, Tasha, Adam, Bree, Chase, Leo, and I are all sitting in the Academy Lunchroom, trying to come up with a plan to help me keep my bionics and keep training. Surprisingly, Chase is by far the most angry and passionate about the situation. "This is insane," he booms. "I can't believe that Lyrica is being punished for saving my life!" "She's being punished because she has bionics," says Bree. "She shouldn't be punished at all," says Chase.

"Well, when hothead stops talking, maybe we can finally come up with a plan," says Daddy, gesturing toward Chase. Chase blushes beet red and purses his lips. I chuckle and pat his shoulder. "Okay, maybe if we prove to Donald that Lyrica should keep her bionics because she's helpful and she can handle a bionic life, then the whole problem will be solved," says Daddy. When he says that I start to question whether or not I actually can handle a bionic life. Then the words that my mother said to me when I was little echo in my mind, Be strong. Be brave. Be a fighter. That is when I realize that I am a fighter, and if I want bionics, I can sure as heck handle a bionic life.

"That's a great idea," I say. Everyone turns to look at me, as if they are surprised at what I just said. Maybe it is because I have been quiet for awhile. "I can prove to him that I'm strong enough to handle a bionic life by doing something helpful or brave that involves using my bionics," I continue. "I just have to wait for the right moment." "She's onto something," says Chase. "If Lyrica pulls her weight around here, or does something tremendously helpful, there is a better chance that Mr. Davenport will let her stay bionic." Everyone murmurs in agreement. "All right then, it's settled," says Daddy. "We will prove to Donny that Lyrica can handle a bionic life. Somehow."
