"One of the most favorable foster parents," The African- American host lady said. "Allison Greenalamd," Mrs. Green walked up to the podium.
"I'm so overwhelmed by the crowd here," Mrs. Green says into the podium. "They say miracles don't ever happen, and are made up. But, Emalie has been our greatest miracle. Emalie was a former student of mine, who demostrated the beyond qualities of a great student. Emalie and her sisters portrayed the qualities of what a joyful foster child would be. I already had two daughters, Maddie and Megan, and all of the things that Emalie went through inspired my husband, Tim, and I to have her as our own. One winter day, Emalie was at home by herself and her parents, Johnathon and Susan, were taking her sisters, Maya and Isabella, to a travel basketball practice as they were coaches and they were tragically killed in a car accident without Emalie knowing until she got a call. Emalie couldn't believe this and she took her car and saw the scene and then went to see Isabella, who was dying from the result, in the hospital. Isabella then died two days later, and Emalie was then sick with appendicitis," She paused, wiping a tear from her eye.
"In my eyes, I saw a sick young woman, who couldn't eat or drink, who lived in her car. She then admitted herself to the ER when Maddie was sick and Mr. Green asked if he should pay for her appendix removal surgery and to take her home and care for her. Emalie returned to school and she finished the year strong and with a four point four GPA. In the summer, we had let her stay with us and she fitted in with her family. When I asked her if she wanted to be apart of the family, Emalie was so eager that I filed the custody arrangements and she is now one of my beautiful daughters," She started crying.
"What I learned from adopting Emalie is that there can be alot happening in one person, and I couldn't have been more grateful to be her foster mother. Her foster father would have been so proud. Some people critize me for adopting a Wilson Tree student while I sent my biological children to Kilsy Christian, Emalie still goes to Wilson Tree Senior High, and she's excelling as normal. Emalie has been my girls and I's greatest blessing, and I couldn't be more thankful for her...I love you like my love for my daughters, Emalie. Keep following your dreams, my dear,"

20 years later...Spencer and I lived in a mansion, as we both had pretty well paid jobs. I was standing at the kitchen as my oldest child, Johnathon, was working on his summer assignments for sixth grade. Isabella, my third grader, was skipping around the house with a bouncy ball, Dana, named her after Spencer's mom, was watching TV and laughing, Patrick, named after Spencer's dad, was sitting with Dana watching Dana's show, and I was pregnant with twins, which I would name Timothy McKenzie, and Maya Jeanne Susan.
Spencer walked through the door in his work clothes.
"Daddy!" My four year old daughter, Dana, said.
"Hey, sweet Dana, where's the rest of the crew?" I felt my big tummy, I was due tomorrow.
"Hey, Dad," Johnathon said. He was Spencer's mini me. Isabella came in the living room.
"Hey, Bella," He said.
"Hey, Dad," She was little Maya.
"How about Mr. Toughguy over here?" He went to the couch and tickled Patrick, who was my father's mini me.
I had the most kids of the family. Maddie has three kids, and Megan just got married.
Mrs. Green arrived. She was older, not neccessary as you think, but she's in her fifties.
We got up and the twins were born.--------------------------
Spencer held Tim while I held Maya out in the courtyard. My children were playing outside.
"See, Maya," I said. "There should be no tragedies you or your siblings have to go through,"
