Two weeks later..
"Em, it's time to get up," Mrs. Greenaland came in my room, which used to be the guest room. I pulled the covers off and stepped out of bed onto the tan hardwood floor. I was in my slippers and PJ's and put my outfit for school on, dark wash jean capris, a purple loose shirt with a pocket and a white cardigan. I slid black slip on shoes on my feet and left my bedroom.
I walked down the stairs to the breakfast table to see that Maddie and Megan were eating breakfast, both still with their PJ's on.
"Girls, Daddy's on a business trip today, tomorrow, all the way through Friday, so I'm going to drop you off at school early, and I'll follow Emalie to her school, does that sound like a plan?" Mrs. Green said as both girls nodded their head. They finished their breakfast and went and put their Kilsy Christian Academy school uniforms on and their backpacks on. I finished my poptart and brushed my teeth and pulled my hair into a side french braid. It was 8 am, school started in less than an hour.
"Emalie, meet at the gas station and we'll get some breakfast, and then go to school," I nodded my head as I left the Greenaland household and headed out to my car. I had threw my bookbag in the just cleaned trunk of the Mercedes and needed to take it in for a wash.
I turned out of the luxury housing and went into the suburban side of Prepton and saw where Mrs. Green gets her coffee in the morning and pulled in. I drove around to the back of the gas station and pulled up to the car wash paying slot and dropped five dollars in.
The car wash opened and I drove in. I stopped when it said stop and pulled my phone out. Brooklyn text me, "You going to school today?"
"Yeah," I replied back.
"I've missed you," She said. "Our lunch table has been lonely without you,"
"I feel so much better, and kind of want these last two weeks of school to go by fast," It was mid May.
I drove out of the car wash and onto the dryers and then parked in the parking lot and walked in with my purse on. I ordered a sandwich and some coffee while Mrs. Green was right behind me.
------------------------------------
I walked into Wilson Tree Senior High. I saw all the R.I.P. Maya and R.I.P. Bella all over the school. When you walked into school by the front doors, you'll see the cafeteria, where we have lunch at. Then to the right is where the gym is, and then beside the gym lies ten classrooms, five on first floor, five on second. The other classrooms were on the right or behind the cafeteria. If you turned around to where the front doors are, there is another school building there, Wilson Tree Junior High, housing six through ninth graders and looks much different because it used to be the Senior High back when my father went here.
I looked around and walked to my homeroom. The bell rang and I sat in my seat, which was above the projector in the white classroom.
"Let's do roll call, if I call your name say here," Mrs. Matthews, the senior math teacher and my homeroom teacher, says. She called everyone's name and I said here.
"Welcome Back, Emalie!" Mrs. Matthews said, flipping her dirty blonde hair. "We are absolutely sorry for your loss of your parents and sisters but we are grateful you were not one of the lost and you were dearly missed by everyone," I smiled and said thank you. My day was typical, everyone, even people I didn't know, were telling me that my story touched them or made them cry and most people were mad at the drunk driver who killed my parents and sisters.
I sat down at lunch and saw Brooklyn, McKenzie and Arizona, my friends who decided to stay at my table with me.
"Hey, Em," Arizona McClemmens says. "We missed you,"
"I missed all of you too," Wilson Tree's cafeteria was huge. We talked about things that were off topic from what I've went through.
----------------------------------
Afterschool, I drove to Kilsy Local Cemetery to see my parents and sisters, where they were buried at. It only took seven minutes. I parked where I could best find them and had to walk only a few rows and saw my grandparents first, I read the tombstones quietly aloud as I went down the row.
"Henry Alexander Johnslee," Then I moved to Grandma's grave.
"Catherine Isabella Fayelee-Johnslee," Then I moved to Dad's grave.
"Johnathon Matthew Johnslee," I paused and bended the knee and bowed my head.
"Thank you, Dad, for protecting me from this car accident that everyone but me got into," I started crying. "And I just pray that you're up in Heaven right now. Watching and keeping me loved," I stood up and did a lunge on Mom's grave, "Susan Eleanor Alexandra- Johnslee,"
"Mom," I cried. "You are dearly missed by everyone. Thank you for always being there for me in everything I do. Thank you for teaching me to be a leader. Thank you for your outstanding influence," I moved over to Maya's grave. "Maya Elizabeth Johnslee,"
"Maya, I," I cried. "I love you, even though we had fights here and there, but I still love you and miss you, your stuff is now lost, I wasn't the one who did it. Maya, I wish we got along better," Then I moved to Bella's grave, "Isabella Danielle Johnslee."
"Bella, I loved you more than anything this world had pulled us back from," I continue to cry. "Even though we fought alot, I love you as if you were my daughter, I love you while our world's were both changing, I love you forever, I'll see you all when I get a chance," I smiled as I walked back to the car and left the cemetery. I then was going to go to the grocery store in town as Mrs. Green ordered me to do. She wanted me to grab some bananas, paper towels, and bottled water.
I drove through town and turned into the grocery store parking lot. I pulled my pink wrist wallet out of my glovebox, parked and left the car.
I was in front of the cart drop off thingy when two men, dressed as people from a ghetto approached me.
"Hey, babe," The first guy, who had a long blonde beard, "You wanna go to the movies after you get done with your shopping?"
"Yeah, it'll be fine, we'll have you back to your parents at no time," I saw they had knives in their pockets.
"No, I don't have time," I told them. The man with no beard pulled a knif out.
"Give me all you got!" He shouts. I was scared at this point. I saw Spencer Marshall, in most of my classes, sprinting towards me. He was a cute football quarterback with blonde hair, like mine, blue eyes and freckles everywhere.
"Stop!" Spencer ran and bodyguarded me. "Stop! Don't kill this girl!"
"Why couldn't I just kill the both of you?!" The bearded man argued.
"She's been through alot in the past month! Go away! Go find someone else to terrorize!" They both said "Screw it," and dropped their knives and left.
Spencer then helped me up and took me inside the supermarket saying, "I need to get help for you, stay inside and with me,"
