The Greenaland family and my family were at the funeral home, for yet another funeral. My foster mother, who had a black veil over her face as she was a widow. I felt so bad for her, she knew Tim before I or my foster sisters were born. Maddie, Megan and I have spent the whole viewing time in the children's center crying. Mrs. Green had been out comforting foster Dad's mourners. She walked up to the podium and opened her veil, and I told Maddie and Megan, who were sitting next to me to not cry out loud.

"Family, friends of Tim," Mrs. Green says, sniffing. "Tim wasn't only my husband, he was my soulmate, my other half, my other pea in a pod, my spouse, my heart, and he is my hero. Tim and I met when I was a senior in college and he was coming back to college after he graduated the year before I did. He and I were friends for the full first semester, and then started dating three weeks before the second semester ended. We broke up for the first time about twenty years ago because I was going to teach at Prepton West Springs High School and he was starting a business in Kilsy. About eleven years ago, we met up at Tim's restruant and restarted dating again. I now taught at Wilson Tree Junior High School. A year and a half after I started teaching in Kilsy, we got married and moved into a beautiful luxurious home in a rich area. About eleven months later, we had premature and precious Madeline Sophia, and then two years and seven months after Madeline was born we had Megan Elizabeth. Tim was a great brother, husband, son, father, partner, and leader of the Kilsy Community Barbeque Restruant," She paused as she wiped her tears. "Meanwhile, just a month or so ago, we had also adopted a child, Ms. Emalie Grace Johnslee, who was born into her own beautiful family and tragically lost her family to a car accident. She was a former student of mine and needed a loving home to finish her childhood. Tim was eager to adopt and help raise this young woman. Tim cared about Emalie, Maddie, Megan and I more than anything. He died for my...my precious daughters, and died for me. He wanted us to be protected and Timothy is my hero. He will be dearly missed," She left the podium, sobbing as my foster grandma, Tim's mom was comforting her.

We continued with the service and had thirty minutes of viewing. Spencer walked in immediately.

"Spencer!" I run over and hugged him. He had his face bruised, his hair was bald, and he wore gangster clothes. "Oh my!" I cried.

"Emalie, I want to be with you forever," He says as he kissed my forehead and held hands. I wiped his tears off of his face.

"I know where your car is," He said. "It's parked here, I snuck it out of the gathering, as so I did with myself because I wanted to see you, you beautiful woman," He kissed me on the cheek. "You want me to tell you my stories, I lost my parents to the gang, and.." He sobbed, and whispered. "Everyone treated me poorly, my boys and I ate everything we stole, we would only get two hours of sleep, beaten daily, killed if the rules weren't followed. I needed to see you, hear your sweet and precious voice, look at you in your flawless green eyes, feel the softness of your gorgeous blonde hair, see you smile." He and I kissed. "You're so beautiful, Emalie Grace," He kissed both of my cheeks and my temples.

After the burial, Spencer and I went in my car and drove to a recently abandoned house. Yes, I told Mrs. Green that he and I were going out. It was Spencer's old house. We pulled in the driveway and went in the house. I laid my stuff down on the table and Spencer came towards me. He kissed my cheek.

"I won't ever do that to you again," He kissed my other cheek and had his hands on my waist. "You're so beautiful, Emalie," He kissed the cheek, "You're so perfect," I turned around and looked at Spencer, as he kissed me on the lips.

"Let's watch a movie," He says. "You want any snacks?"

"Sure, chips and salsa, please," We then went and laid on the couch, and watched a two hour Mexican movie.

"I have to go home," I told him. "If you ever need a ride, I'm always a text or call away! See ya!"

"Goodbye, Emalie Grace, I love you more than anything beautiful," He and I kissed one last time as he walked me out and I went to my car.

"God, it feels so great to have you back," I said to my Mercedes as I drove it. I felt a sudden whirl of dizziness, and nausea. I pulled over on the highway and vomited about as worse as I had before my appendix was removed.

I felt weak after I spent five minutes hurling. I could barely see anything. I called Mrs. Green.

"Hello?" My foster mother says.

"Hey, it's Emalie, I'm currently pulled over and," I started crying.

"Emalie, what happened?"

"I puked, and feel like passing out,"

"Ok, don't you dare drive,"

"Mom! I need to get home!"

"Emalie! You'll pass out and never be here again! Just wait until you get greeted by a trooper!" I got sick again.

"Call help," I told her, wiping tears from my face. "Please, please just call help," I collapsed and woke up within a minute.

"They are on their way, Emalie, just hold tight and keep breathing," I started getting hyperventialted.

"Emalie, Emalie, Emalie!" I heard Mom's voice as I puked again, this time it was not as normal. I felt scared.

"Emalieee!" Mom said as I passed out. "Ok, I'll see you at the hospital!" I woke up as she hung up. I was gasping for air and felt a stab at my stomach, this time at the left side and on my back. I let out a scream of pain and hurled.

Someone pulled up behind me as the ambulance was arriving. They parked behind me and a woman with brunette hair came out of the car.

"Are you ok?" She said as I shook my head, tears coming down my cheeks.

"I'm so," I took a breath and said "weak." The ambulance came in front of my car and so did Mrs. Green. I collapsed one last time.

I woke up in the ambulance and saw my IV tubes in. Mrs. Green was in with me.
