Spencer called me when I pulled into the Greenaland house.

"Are you ok?" He said.

"Yeah, I'm just a little frightened, Thank you,"

"For what?"

"Saving my life,"

"Emalie, you don't have to thank me for that, I care so much about you that I would do that," I smiled, then started crying.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing," I told him. "Just relieved and thankful I'm still here,"

"Do you need me to talk to?" Spencer had lost his father to an accident when he wasn't even born yet, as least that's what he said when he moved here freshman year.

"Spencer," I paused and sniffled. "I just miss my family so much. I'm just so upset they've been taken away from me by that stupid drunk driver,"

"Emalie, you want to go to the movies Friday night at seven?" I told him yes. We called help and they came and took care of us.

Two weeks and a day later....

Maya would have graduated tonight if she wouldn't have died. The Greenaland's and I went to the ceremony anyway though but before we went to our local barbeque place, which was owned by the Greenalands but got pizza to eat in the break room. I had resigned from my job and elimnated activities in these past two weeks. Meanwhile, we were in break room when Mr. Green asked this question.

"Emalie, we have an important question we'd like to ask you," Mr. Green said. I looked up at him. "Would you like to be apart of this family?"

"I thought I was," The family laughed. "Of course,"

"I'll go to the County offices tomorrow to file your adoption," Mrs. Green said. "Then we can go shopping for your wardrobe, and your room and we can get working on your life," I laughed.

Meanwhile, I saw Maya's classmates walk in and my eyes were misty. I was hoping to be with Bella, Mom, and Dad watching Maya walk down the aisle to get her diploma. The graduates sat down as the music stopped and Principal Wagoner stepped up to the podium.

"Welcome to Wilson Tree Senior High School's annual graduation ceremony," Principal Wagoner said as I looked at her dark white face. "Tonight we will honor our eight hundred and eighteen graduates who have completed their vigorous education and will all be awareded a diploma. However, we all must remember of our fallen graduate, Maya Elizabeth Johnslee, who will be awarded tonight with an honors memorial diploma. Maya was killed with her family in a car crash about two and a half weeks ago and would have recieved an honors diploma. Maya was a beautiful girl with many talented athletic, academic, and art abilites and will forever be in our hearts. Tonight we announce the Johnslee family memorial scholarship, the Isabella Johnslee essay contest, and the Johnslee memorial park. Maya and Isabella's statues will now be dedicated," There was two statues, about four feet tall, with female humans, one was holding books and had a graduation gown on, the other had a dress on, held books and a basketball. Principal Wagoner put the graduation hats on top of both statues.

I felt super inspired by the support of Kilsy through the loss of my family, a thought popped up in my head about what I was going to do this summer. I wasn't sure if the idea was going to work but I thought about the brilliant idea.

After the ceremony, I told Mrs. Green about it.

"I was thinking of starting a charity for orphans in the US," I told her. "Everyone could donate care packages such as snacks, first aid supplies, toys, clothes, blankets, and could fit it in a small box," She nodded her head.

We went home and went to bed as tomorrow was Saturday.
