I laid in my bed as an inpatient of Prepton Children's. I would be undergoing an MRI, a CT scan, blood draws, and other things to be determined by the inpatient doctors.
Mrs. Green brought Maddie and Megan. I looked out the window and saw the beautiful night in downtown Prepton.
"Mom," I told her.
"Yes, my dear," She says.
"I still don't feel well," I could barely see the bunny rabbits hopping around my room.
"You'll be fine. You're in great hands,"
"I just, hate this,"
"I know you do, Emalie," I had a flashback as I was looking out the window of when Bella, who was three, and when I was six and Dad took us out to play soccer in the parking lot while Maya was having open heart surgery.
I smiled.
"You ok?" Mrs. Green said. I nodded my head.
"Yeah, just a little scared," She sighed.
"I am too, I am too, I need to go to the hotel, have fun with all your tests tonight," Mrs. Green took her daughters and left. About a half an hour later, the nurses took me to get an MRI. Then I slept.

"Hey, dear," Mrs. Green said. "Guess what? The doctors have been working around the clock for you, and you have pancreatitis. You just need to diet and they'll fix you up in a week,"
It made me so happy.

A week later, I was driving into the woods to meet Spencer for a date in his forest, where he played at when he was a kid which was the forest down from his house. I felt girly for this date so I put a casual blue floral short dress on and some black lace up boots.I parked at his house as Spencer was there to greet me. He walked down to his driveway and let me out of the car.
"So you ready?" He smiles and kisses my cheek.
"Heck yeah," I stood up. We walked to the dead end of the road and jumped over the dead end sign. We walked through mud as far as we could and we found a small space of grass. There was a blue plaid picnic blanket in the middle of the small space and Spencer had a picnic basket.
We sat and had a great picnic.
Mrs. Green text me,
"Hey, there's a foster parents banquet next Wednesday at the Greater Prepton Convention Center, I'm speaking, it's at 7," I nodded my head and we said that I would be happy to go.
Spencer and I flirted the rest of the date.
