The hot tears streamed down my face and onto my hands, making a mess. My shoulders shook with every shaky breath I took.

He walked towards me as my mom continued to take pictures. He was smiling and his eyebrows were slanting in opposite directions like seeing me cry was making him sad. But these were tears of joy.

He wrapped his arms around my shoulders and kissed my head gently. The feeling of his lips on my head leaving a tingling sensation of warmth. My hands went behind his back as I pulled myself as close as I could to him.

I was clenching his tux in my balled up hands so hard that they were trembling.

I took a deep breath of his cologne, finally feeling relief in his arms. I was transported to the day we first met and I was crying in is arms. Except this time he smelled like Vanoss with his cologne.

"What are you doing here?" My voice was muffled in his shoulder.

"I came here to surprise you," He was resting his cheek on top of my head. We swayed back and fourth ever-so slightly.

I loosened my grip on his tux as my hands shook and I feel him squeeze me.

"Are you okay?" He laughs and lets go to look at me.

I nod as I wipe my tears with my fingers and then smile. I don't think he understands how much this means to me. I stare at my hand before looking up at his wide eyes.

"Yeah, my uhh- dad isn't coming... but this is so much better," I cup his jaw in my hands as I stretch up to peck him on the lips and pull him into another hug.

His hands explore my lower back before he whispers into my ear, "Well you can call me daddy and you know I'll be coming." He reminded me of when he gets really close to the mic in his videos and talks in a deep, sexy voice.

I immediately snort and let go of him so I can double over in laughter. I hear him giggling at his own joke as I cover my mouth with my fist.

Part of me wondered if he was actually serious, but I guess in front of my little brothers would not be the time for this.

As I stand up, I look at my mom on the stairs to see if she heard what he just said. She was smirking as she was leaning on the railing, looking happy.

I sigh before grabbing Craig's hand and walking back to the foyer.

"What's so funny?" My mom asks with a smile on her face, like our laughter was contagious.

Craig and I exchange a glance before I look back at my mom. "Oh, nothing." I shrug.

I feel Craig squeeze my hand before he lets go to greet Liam and Chris.

"Hey guys!" He bends down and holds out his hands for high-fives.

Chris smacks his hand, missing slightly and only hitting Craig's thumb.

"I thought you were coming tomorrow?" Liam asked after slapping his palm. They were almost the same height while Craig was crouching. Craig was still a bit taller though.

"I wanted to surprise you guys," He said with a grin.

"Yayyy!" Chris jumped up and down while clapping. They always enjoyed it when Craig came.

Seeing Craig with them made him look so fatherly and it made my heart melt every time.

"How was the traffic?" I heard my mom say from behind him.

"Uhh," He ponders as he puts his hands on his knees and stands up. "It wasn't too bad today, but it is  a Wednesday."

"That's good. What time are you thinking you guys are leaving tomorrow?" She leans on the railing and looks at the both of us.
