CHAPTER 4

Megan’s POV

“So, I’ll take a shower first,” I said as Drew and I stepped in our beach house. I headed towards the bathroom, when he firmly grabbed my wrist and caused me to spin around, colliding with his hard chest.

“No, you’re not,” he smirked, wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me even closer to him. I opened my mouth to contradict, when he cut me off. “You promised,” he said with a low voice. He raised his hand, slowly removed my hair from my face and tucked them behind my ear. “I didn’t know you’re a girl who breaks her promises,” he lowered his head and whispered in my ear. I rolled my eyes and somehow managed to quickly get out of his embrace.

“Fine,” I groaned and stuck my finger in his chest. “But not for long, I have to take a shower,” I narrowed my eyes and gave him a strict look. “Otherwise girls will kill me. Understand?”

His smirk widened. “Of course, I completely forgot about the welcome party,” he said smugly, studying my facial expression. “I bet you’re looking forward to it.”

“Of course,” I answered sarcastically, “I’ve been waiting for this party all my life. I just can’t wait to meet more people, especially girls, who are probably dying to meet me.”

He chuckled. “I know you do,” he said, threw his arm around my shoulders and lead me to the couch. Then, without a warning, he threw himself on in and left no place for me. I looked at him angrily, my eyebrows knitted together.

“Seriously?!” I exclaimed, throwing my hands in the air. He started laughing. “Sorry, baby doll,” he winked, “but that much sexiness needs a lot of space, you know?”

I snorted and rolled my eyes. “Cocky, are we?” I asked, as I grabbed his legs and threw them off the couch. I threw myself on it and closed my eyes. This is so comfortable. I could sit in this leather white couch all day.

Suddenly, he sneaked his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him, our hips touching.

“Well, what else can I say?” he murmured in my ear huskily, sending shivers down my spine. “Do you want me to lie?” he mocked and placed his hand on his chest, shaking his head. “I’m surprised, princess, I really am. I thought goody-two-shoes girls don’t lie,”

I huffed and rolled my eyes. I tried to get his arm off of me, but I was unsuccessful. “First of all, stop making those ridiculous nicknames for me, they are cheesy and they don’t suite me. Second of all, for your information, I’m not goody-two-shoes!” I exclaimed, facing his mocking expression.

He stared at me for a couple of seconds, and then, finally removed his arms and crossed them on his chest. “Prove it,” He smirked, his eyes shining mischievously.

I rolled my eyes. “How am I suppose to-“

I was cut off by his phone. He looked at it, and when he saw the caller’s ID, his eyes widened and he quickly answered. “Hello?” he grinned, his mood suddenly lightening up. He quickly jumped up and left the room, leaving me alone.
