Twenty-seven

I scream out feeling the impact the car made with the water, I hit my head bashing it off the steering wheel, I felt dizzy but I quickly come around feeling the cold water filling the car up.

I start screaming as the car goes under the water and it was filling up quickly, I managed to get out my seatbelt, I try the door but it wouldn't open, panic sets in even more as the water gets to my chin.

I take one last breath and the car was full, I look seeing a man that I didn't recognize he was trying the door handle and starts trying to smash the window, I feel myself slowly falling into darkness and within seconds I was gone.

I start coughing laying there looking up to this man hearing sirens in the distance, he pushes my head to the side as I cough up water trying to catch my breath.
"Are you okay?" He asked me "you hurt?" I feel my head feeling this massive pain as the man puts his jacket around me.

"My head" I said holding it, paramedics arrive and start checking me over.

I get rushed to the hospital where my mom and brother was waiting for me
"I've rung Andy" Sawyer said pulling me into a hug

"You shouldn't off" I said as the nurse cleans my cut on my head causing me to wince in pain. The nurse puts tape strips across my cut before leaving.

"How did it happen?" My mom asked sitting on the bed holding on to my hand squeezing it so tight.

"I don't know mom. My phone beeped I remember looking at my bag, next thing I remember is loosing control due to a massive impact of another car"

"Do you know how lucky you are to be alive?" My brother said reminding me.

"Yeah" I nod "I won't be when Andy arrived here. His gonna flip as his car is in the river right now" I chuckled.

"I'm glad you find this funny" my mom said bursting into tears "you nearly died"

"I know mom" I said leaning in giving her a hug "how's the person who hit me, they hurt?" I asked them both as I clung on to my mom who was sobbing on my shoulder

"We don't know they drove off according to witnesses" sawyer said

The door opens and in rushed Andy covered in dirt and blood I let go of my mom who moved out the way
"It's nice to see Rick Grimes could join us" I joked looking at Andrew who was close to tears

"Are you alright?" Andy asked looking closely at my head and checking me over.

"I'm okay but your other cars not" I said looking at him

"I don't care about the car. As long as your safe that's all I care about"

I sit there feeling sick "you okay?" Andy asked I shake my head

"Feel sick" he gets up grabbing the paper bowel and I vomit

"You have slight concussion" Sawyer said "it's normal. Dr said you need to stay in for observation"

My mom leaves to go home and I sit with Sawyer and Andrew
I cuddle up to a dirty bloody Andy who gave some of the nurses a shock when they walked in as he laid there dressed as Rick.

Andy's phone rings and he looks at his phone "it's Ella's school" he said answering it.

I lay they wondering why they would be ringing for.
"Hello" Andy said "yeah it's her dad.. Where the hell is she?" Andrew asked his voice harsh getting up off the bed turning looking at me worriedly as he spoke on the phone.

I look at Andrew he was panicking "I'm on my way" he said hanging up.

I stare at Andrew tears filled my eyes as I knew that there was a problem with Ella "what's wrong?" I asked him though deep down I honestly didn't want to know

"Ella she's missing" Andy said holding in tears panic spread all over his face.
