I get up the next morning getting Ella dressed and ready for Andrew coming around but I never told her he was coming around I was hoping that me and Andrew could talk first before she noticed he was here.

While Ella amuses herself I tidy up a bit in between looking out the window for Andrew.
I see Andrew pull up outside and I tell Ella to sit watch her Dvd for a bit.
I pull the living room door closed slightly before opening the front door seeing Andrew walking my way.
"Hey" I said letting him inside closing the front door quietly.

"Where is Ella?" Andrew asked me.

"She's watching a dvd, she doesn't know your here, thought it be best we talk first then let her know your here" I said walking into the kitchen.

"Do you want a coffee?" I offered but Andrew shakes his head.

"No I'm good at the moment" he replied I nod my head sighing out looking down.

"Listen I'm sorry for running out on you yesterday. It's just it got to much for me" I told him

"I thought it over last night and I get why you didn't tell me" Andrew replied.

"Andrew it's not that I didn't want to tell you, I couldn't, you was in London I was here. I didn't know who you was or how to contact you."

"I know, the one thing I'm gutted with is that I've missed out on six years of my daughters life." Andrew said, I nod feeling tears building in my eyes.

"I'm sorry I feel awful about that" I said as wipe the tears from my cheeks.

"Does she know?" Andrew asked me I shake my head.

"No she doesn't know your her dad. All she knows you as is Rick Grimes. She's a big fan of yours" I see Andrew smile hearing that.

"Are we going to tell her?" Andrew asked me.

"Yeah if you want her to know" I replied as I began biting my nails again I was so nervous.

"Yeah I do" he nodded "can I go and see her"

"yes sure, you can, she's yours" I said I started crying turning my back on him, Andrew walks over pulling me into a hug.

"You don't have to cry, it's okay, yesterday it was a shock seeing you again then finding out I'm a dad"

"It's just for years I've kept this a secret and now it's finally out" I pull away from him wiping my cheeks. "come on let's go see your daughter"

"Our daughter " Andrew said from behind me.

I open the living room door seeing Ella playing with her toys watching her dvd.
"Hey sweetie there's someone who really wants to see you" I said walking into the living.

Andrew walks in stopping looking at her "hi" he said smiling Ella waves at him before standing up.

"Have you come to watch cartoons with me like Norman did?" Ella asked him

"I'm sure we can watch cartoons" Andrew said crouching down looking at her taking in her features.

I walk over pausing the dvd which caused Ella to look at me "mommy Im watching that" she said looking at me disappointed.

"Yeah I know but Andrew and I need to talk to you about something that's really important." I said sitting down on the coffee table patting the chair in front of me for Ella to sit down.

She walks over with Andrew following her and she sits down on the couch with him next to her.
"So darling I have something that I need to tell. You might not really understand but that's okay. Because I will be here and Andrew to answer any questions you have" I look at Andrew who looks at me he looked as nervous as I did.

"Okay so Ella, do you remember ages ago when we was laying in bed one night and you asked about your daddy and wanted to know why he wasn't here" Ella nods her head.

"You said if he could be here he would be. And that my daddy would be really proud of me" I nod my head feeling tears in my eyes Andrew was right she was very grown up for being six years old.
I look at him seeing he was getting rather emotional
"Okay so baby girl. Your daddy is sitting right next to you" I told her, saying that felt so damn good.

"No mommy that's Andrew he is Rick"

"I know baby" I chuckled nervously "but his also your daddy, me and Andrew we made you. His your daddy"'

"For real?" Ella asked me looking to me then Andrew I nod my head.

"Look Ella I know that it's a shock but I'd really like to get to know you" Andrew said looking at her.

"I have a daddy?" Ella asked she was sounding rather happy but shocked
"Yes you have a daddy" I said, she looks at Andrew.

"Can I give you a cuddle?" She asked him he nods his head at her "I'd like that" he smiled she sits on his lap cuddling in to him.

I get up leaving them both as I got to emotional for me I walk into the kitchen splashing water on my face.

I sit on the kitchen counter fifteen minutes later Andrew walks into the kitchen
"Everything okay?" I asked him he smiles at me.

"Yeah she's amazing" he smiled.

"Yeah not sure where she gets it from" I muttered jumping down of the work surface.

"Well it's clearly from you" he said I shake my head at him.
"You know nothing about me. Our daughter is a result of stupid one night stand. Which should never of happened considering your married"

"but if that night didn't happen you wouldn't have Ella." Andrew points out and he was right that stupid one nighter might of been stupid but our stupid mistake gave us one of the most beautiful gifts ever.
