We Get It. You're Obsessed.

Oh. My. GOD.

I see this all the time now.

Whenever someone likes something, like a show or a game or whatever, some people have to mention it in EVERY. FREAKING. CHAPTER.

I mean, WE GET IT. You love it. Now keep it on the down low. I mean, I love Doctor Who, and I talk about it a lot, but I don't mention it in every one of my fanfics. The only ones I do mention it in are my Dreams book, my Rant (and those are because they aren't stories), Project V.I.D.C.O.N. (Because there's a character who is supposed to be based on that) and my Doctor Who fanfic (which is self explanatory).

But you don't see me going:

"I sat down on the couch and best friend was watching Doctor Who. It's supposed to be a good show but I never got into it.

'So, wanna go do something?' I asked.

'SHUT UP I'M WATCHING DOCTOR WHO.'

'Oh. Sorry.'

'IT'S MAH FAVORITE EPISODE SHUT UP.'"

Like, No. And then in the next chapter:

"I handed him the TARDIS mug I gave him and we had a conversation about Doctor Who."

I mean, I get if the character's main persona is that he/she likes Doctor Who (Take Tori in Project V.I.D.C.O.N. for example), but if it is completely unrelated, like a One Direction fanfic, don't mention it in EVERY. CHAPTER.

Honestly. And that also goes for everything else too. Like, if you like Smosh and you also like Chameleon Circuit, don't say "So Charlie was sitting around during his trip to the US and he got bored so he called up his best friend Anthony, from Smosh." or something like Dan and Phil being best friends with Ed Sheeran. Um... No.

Sorry. I've just seen this in a lot of fanfics and it's really starting to piss me off to the point where when those books are updated, I'm like "Oh, let's see how many times Doctor Who is freaking mentioned in this chapter." Sorry.

(Oh, and I know there are a lot of bold and italics in here, but that's just because I'm taking advantage of the fact that the mobile app finally added them. ^-^")
