((Lol this chapter title sounds like a cliche love anime. Nah fam this is just more angst as I try to get over the newest chapter))
Natsu kept shivering.
He didn't know why, but he felt uneasy, as if small bugs were crawling up his spine.
'Breathe.' He thought to himself, taking a deep breath before exhaling.
This had happened before. It wasn't an uncommon occurrence, actually. It started a few years ago, where he would randomly feel cold and have a sense of fear and panic wash over him with no reason whatsoever. Those first few nights, he thrashed away in his bed, screaming but unable to wake up. He had even fallen out of his bed once, but he was sucked into another hellish reality that could only be seen as he dreamed.
Isabel had told him to take deep breaths, letting them out slowly to calm his nerves. She rubbed his back as his mother patted his hair, which helped calm him down.
But the most peculiar part of it all was he couldn't remember except the same sentence being repeated over and over in his head.
They're coming.
They're coming.
All of a sudden, Natsu's eyes flew.
He was breathing heavily, gasping for air as he wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. His heartbeat was rattling in his chest, and he felt nauseous.
Beside him, Fuyu opened her eyes. "Natsu?" She muttered, her voice heavy with sleep. "Something wrong?"
"Fuyu, where's Isabel...?" Natsu said slowly, seeing the empty sleeping bag beside them.
In a moment, Fuyu was up. "Wh-Where could she have gone?" She stammered, panic clearly overtaking her common sense as she started looking every where in the small cramped tent. "I-It's the middle of the night, right?"
Natsu watched in silence as his sister started blabbing to herself, like she did when she was nervous or scared. "I had one of them again, just now." He said quietly, and Fuyu's froze.
"Huh? Like the one that always went they're coming?" Fuyu asked.
"Sort of." Natsu said, scratching the back of his head. "Only they're not coming anymore."
"They're here."
