A Faded Love

Chapter 24

A week had passed since this incident and everything was going well. Servando was expelled from Berkeley which made Tobin and Alex's lives a bit easier. Tobin and Alex had developed strong feelings for each other, but Alex knew that she was already in love with Tobin. Tobin knew that she developed strong feelings for Alex, but she didn't know if she loves her yet.

Christen and Kelley were now considered a "thing" because they were not officially together yet.

*Flashback to the day Christen let Tobin go and told her to get Alex back*

Kelley was walking down the hallway to her dorm when she heard crying coming from one of the dorms. She walked closer to where the sound of crying was coming from and traced it to the dorm next to hers.

She knocked on the door, "Hey, is everything okay in there?"

Christen jumped at the sound of a girl's voice. She took a deep breath and managed to let out a faint "yes."

Kelley knew the girl was lying and decided to barge in, hoping the door would be unlocked. To her luck, it was.

Christen's eyes went wide at the sight of a random girl barging into her room.

"Don't lie, you're not okay," Kelley said.

Christen sighed and wiped the tears from her cheeks. "Ever heard of knocking?" Christen asked annoyed.

"Ever heard of telling the truth?" Kelley responded. Christen glared at her. "I'm Kelley O'Hara, I live next door," Kelley stuck her hand out for Christen to shake.

Christen slowly shook Kelley's hand, "I'm Christen Press."

"Why were you crying?" Kelley asked right away.

"None of your business," Christen responded turning her back to Kelley.

"I know you're on the soccer team. Just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be on the soccer team too. So, I suggest you talk to me so we can develop a friendship," Kelley smiled.

"I suggest you get out of my room," Christen responded harshly while crossing her arms.

Kelley chuckled, "Oh honey, you can't get rid of me that easily. I already know a bit of you. You are Tobin's girlfriend and you're the one who took Tobin away from my best friend, Alex. Am I right?"

Christen's cheeks grew red with frustration. "I was Tobin's girlfriend. And I did not take away Tobin from Alex, okay? I didn't mean to fall in love with her and her fall in love with me. So no, you're not right."

"Chill, dude. I was joking," Kelley laughed, "But was?"

"It's a long story."

"I have time."

Christen explained to Kelley what had just happened and how she felt about Tobin's feelings between her and Alex.

"So you're letting Tobin love Alex again and you just sit here and be sad?" Kelley asked confused.

"I'd rather be with someone who knows what she wants rather than someone who has feelings for two girls."

Kelley sighed, "You can't blame Tobin, though. It's not her fault. She lost her memory and fell in love with you, she gains her memory and remembers Alex and falls in love with her all over again. It was her memory lost."
