Steve's P.O.V.

Evening came and we were alerted that the aircraft will land anytime soon. We waited for them in the tarmac, as we were granted access - thanks to the King. Sam and I were the ones who came first.

I haven't seen Natasha after I visited her in her room so maybe Nat and Wanda are together.

Wanda showed up few minutes later, alone.

Where's Nat?

"Nat's not coming. I've heard that she and King T'Challa were going somewhere." She must have seen the confusion in my face or read whatever is in my head for she answered my question without me asking it directly to her.

"Ooh! Looks like Red's having a love life!" Sam teasingly said.

"Easy there, Sam. Let's not jump into conclusions," I reprimanded him and also myself.

I couldn't blame the royal highness if he fell to the widow's web. She's more than the pretty face everyone adored. I think T'Challa can see that. If Nat's happy with him, then I'd let them be.

''What the hell, Rogers? Why are you even thinking of these things?'' I asked myself.

''Because you're a friend," the other side of my brain replied.

"A friend? Yeah right!" The other part sarcastically replied.

Moments later, a private jet came in to sight. It circled the tarmac before finding a perfect spot to land. We approached the jet and waited for it to open its door. When it opened, Clint was the first one to get out.

"Hey! Hey! Hey!" Sam greeted him and they high fived.

"Clint!" Wanda exclaimed and hugged him tightly. They've been acting like real siblings since Pietro died. It's just so nice to know someone was there to look at out for her.

He turned his attention to me and we did the chest bump. "Captain," he greeted me

"How are they?" I asked referring about his family.

"They're safe," he answered.

"That's nice to hear," I replied.

"I'm just wondering," he said while turning his head left and right, "Where's Nat?"

"She's with T'Challa, according to Wanda." I informed him.

"2 days and I'm replaced," he exclaimed while touching his chest dramatically.

Wanda and Sam can't help it but giggle so I did the same.

"Steve," I heard a voice called me taking my attention away from Clint.

It must have been rude that I wasn't able to notice her standing behind Clint. Wearing a white sunday dress, she looks innocent.

Too innocent, actually.

"Sharon"

Clint stepped aside and she went near me. She smiled sweetly but not sweet enough to have you melting from the inside. Not like...

STOP IT STEVE

Before I can say anything, she gave me a peck on my lips.

I can feel the intense staring of Clint and Wanda from the side. Sam just smirked.

"Seriously, get a room, Cap." Sam teased.

I was about to say something when the loud sound of an incoming helicopter interrupted me.

"Isn't that Nat?" Clint asked, pointing to the chopper's passenger.

"With T'Challa," Wanda added.

Suddenly, my brain can't process anything. The only thing running inside is the image of Natasha sitting comfortably next to T'Challa inside a helicopter. She's with him. He's with her. Only God knows how long they were together.

Damn it, Rogers!

They immediately landed and T'Challa assisted Natasha from going down. Knowing Nat, she doesn't need the help. She's just being polite.

Clint instantly approached her but instead of giving him a hug, he received a flying kick in the gut from Nat. He stumbled on the cemented floor.

Sam's trying hard not to laugh, I can sense. The Wakandan King smiled mockingly.

"What's up, Clinton?" Nat greeted him while looking down.

"What was that for?" Clint asked while still lying down.

"My foot missed your face way back in Germany." Nat said then smirked. She offered a hand to help the archer stand up.

"Let's go home. Dinner's ready." T'Challa announced.

We went to our respective vehicles. Clint and Sharon went with Wanda. Sam stayed with me. Nat is still with T'Challa, she insisted on it.

I stared blankly in space only to realize that I'm thinking about Nat. The ride back home was silent before Sam spoke.

"Missing her?"

Yes. "No, of course. I'm happy she spent her afternoon well." I'm really not that happy.

"I'm asking about Sharon, Steve." Sam said while looking intently at me, a smirk forming on his face.

Shit! What was I thinking?

"And I'm talking about her too," I lied, "her afternoon spent with Clint in the jet."

Sam nodded at me then made himself busy looking outside the car window.

I can hear Nat's voice in my head saying "You're a terrible liar".

What can I say? Maybe I am.
