Chapter 4

NEXT MORNING

I woke up with dark circles under my eyes from hardly no sleep. My decision still remains unknown. I like both of them I just have to chose. I dragged myself out of bed, took a shower, and brushed my teeth. I went to my closet and grabbed dark blue jeans, cream sweater, and cream crotchet toms. I grabbed my back pack and started my journey to school. I called Jason yesterday and told him that I didn't need him to pick me up for school today. This is going to be one of the hardest decisions I'll ever make.

I got to school and Justin was leaning on his car with his phone in his hands. He looked up and smirked as he saw me. I smiled and put my head down.

"Hey babe." Jason said as he walked to me. I looked up and saw Justin with a sad face.

"Hey." I said back putting a fake smile on my face. I looked over so I could see Justin again but he wasn't there.

"Who are you looking for?" Jason asked looking down at me.

"Justin." I said and looked up to see his face hard.

"Lets go." Jason said and walked with me to the school building.

We went to our first class and that was with Justin and sat down. Justin was already there and was listening to music. I wonder what he's listening to.

I took my seat which was in front of Justin and behind Jason. Justin poked me with a pencil and I turned around and looked at him.

"What?" I asked him.

He gave me a note and I turned back around and read it.

I really like you and I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me.

I have to chose now. Do I want to be with Justin who got me through most of the horrible things in life with his music and the guy who I must like enough to almost lose my virginity to. Or do I pick the guy who was my best friend since fifth grade and was one of the only people that I could tell anything to? I know who to chose.

I got out a piece of paper and wrote Justin a note saying...

Yes. I just don't want to hurt Jason. We have to keep our relationship a secret at first so Jason doesn't know. I really like you too!

He read the note and I turned around and saw he had a smile on his face. Next thing I have to wory about: How do I brake up with Jason?

So many problems for a seventeen year old. The bell rang and everybody got up. Jason looked at me and had a frown on his face.

"We need to talk." He said to me and led me to the gym where nobody was at.

"What do you want to talk about?" I asked him as he looked down at me.

"I don't think this relationship will work out. I really like you but I think we'll work out way better as friends." Jason said. I sighed with relief. "You clearly have your eyes on someone else."

"You know me too well." I said and hugged him. I took him a few seconds but he hugged me back. I just feel safe in his arms.

"Well we have to go to class." Jason said and laughed as we walked to class. I'm happy we can still be normal even though we just broke up.

As we got in class Justin looked at us weird.

"Nice for you two to join us." Mr.Lewis said looking at me and Jason.

"I'm happy to grace you with my presence." Jason said and sat down.

I laughed and sat down next to Justin. People where laughing and Justin just smiled at me. "Jason broke up with me." I told him.
