Ason glances at his brother and Valissa watching her closely.

She doesn't want to be there. She doesn't want to be with Jaco right now. And she definitely doesn't want to kiss him.

And Ason didn't know why but for some reason deep down he felt happy about that.

He sighs and walks into his A block class.

"Mr. Buchanan!" He looks up at his peppy English teacher. Pretty sure he was gay! And he had no problem with that! "How are you this morning?" he asked with a smile.

Ason glances at him weirdly not wanting to say anything. "Uhm..." he glances up at his chair which seems so far away. "Good?" he nods and starts walking away.

But Mr. Dilbas wasn't letting that happen today.

"Good?" he questions. "Thats all!? It's such a fine morning" he beams at him.

Ason sighs fed up. "Look Mr. D. I'm not really in the morning/talking mood right now. Can I just go to my seat now?"

Mr. Dilbas looks at him glumly. It was like Ason had just told him his grandmother had gotten hit by a car. "Oh ok... sure go ahead." he waves Ason away.

Ason sighs in relief and makes his way to his seat at the top, and back of the class.

It wasn't that he disliked Mr. D, because he actually like the man for a teacher, it was just that he wasn't a morning person.

He sighs and sits back as the class starts. He sits back and thinks about everything... and everyone in his life; whether dead, alive, new or old.

And he especially thinks about Valissa Mercer.

She made him want to do things that he'd said he'd never do again, made him feel things he thought was locked, long ago, away in some far away crevice of his heart.

He zones out and thinks about how his life would be with her. He smiles faintly. The girl was very goddamn annoying but he could deal with it. She made him crazy but it was fine with him, he could take everything she threw his way. He may have acted as though he could care less for her but in the week/week-and-a-half that he's known her all he's wanted to do was kiss her senseless. Maybe that would be something for him to do to shut her up.

He hadn't noticed that he had zoned away for the entire class period until her hears the bell ring and the shuffle of books, papers, feet against the linoleum, and mumbling of friends talking to other friends.

He didn't really need to know anything in this class anyway so, he didn't care but he at least wanted to be attentive in school and not think about a gorgeous hazel eyed beauty.

See?

She made him unfocused.

He gathers his things and starts heading out of the class.

"Goodbye Mr. Buchanan see you tomorrow"

He nods at his teacher and continues on out of the class and to his B block; Graphic Designs/Art.

Ason walks slowly around the school taking the long way trying to avoid everyone that he didn't want to see and just people in general. He was taking the back way when he ran into her.

"Oh hey, Ason!" Joanna says.

He tries to walk around her with a nod to the head.

She blocks him and stands in his way. "Where you going?"

"Away"

"What class?"

"Graphic Design" he says with a sigh.

Ason knew that he was asking her to help him with his whole wanting to be a better person thing but he didn't need her getting in his face while they were in school.

She nods.

If you haven't noticed Joanna was Ason's first girlfriend. He had started dating her sophomore year of high school and she had dumped him their senior year, the same year his parents died. Supposedly he was too damaged for her to fix and truthfully that cut him so deep that he didn't know what to do but turn to a razor, cigarettes, partying, sex, girls, and drinking. He had thought that she might be his soul mate but quite honestly he was glad that she dumped him because he had a chance with Valissa.

Joanna Morano was a 5 foot 8, gorgeous blonde haired 21 year old college student who at the moment was wearing a red sheer like knee length dress, black All Star converses, with her eyes were surrounded with shimmering purple eye shadow. Her hair was down to her stomach.

If Ason had to admit anything she was more damaged than he was. He didn't want nor need Joanna. He was way over her because he had feelings for someone better than his ex.

"Do you have to go to class?" she asks standing closer to him.

He backs away and nods his head.

"Oh come on Ace" she pouts. "For old time's sake" she says backing him up into the wall.

He shakes his head. "No Joanna"

She rubs her body up against his and grins sexily. "But I need you"

She really thought he was going to fall for her shit again. No way in hell.

He glares into her eyes. "Look Joanna, I called you the other day for help! I didn't call you for another endless relationship." He moves her hands away from his chest. He grips her wrists.

"But..." she says leaning in close.

He backs up. "I don't want you anymore Joanna. Get that through your head. You dumped me remember?" he pushes her away so he can make his way to his class.

She scoffs. "I don't need you either Ason!" she squeals.

He never knew how fucked up the girl actually was.

He turns to face her. "Remember Jo, I know the real you." He says sadly.

She smirks. "And I know the real you too, Ason. So don't forget who you will come running back to in the end, I make you complete. I am the only one who can fix you."

He laughs humorlessly. "See and that right there is where you are wrong. You seriously are one evil conniving bitch!" he shakes his head. "You can't fix me Jo because you're as fucked up as I am! And this time sweetie I won't be running back to you, as you so nicely put it. I don't want you anymore. Forget I called you and asked for your help at all."

With that he walks away and starts the long tread to his favorite class which he was 5 minutes late for. He should just stop at Mickey's office for a pass.
