Ason walks around her bed slowly so that he is on the side that she isn't laying on. He kicks his shoes off quickly and slowly gets into the bed behind her pulling the duvet back. He hears her groan in her sleep and hastily wraps his arm around her body. Ason feels her move against his body and he pulls her closer, Valissa turns around so that she can snuggle her face into his chest.
As Valissa slept Ason had time to think about what he would say to her once she was awake. He still didn't know what it would be like. He sighs and looks down at her snuggled into his body under the blankets. He really did have feelings for Valissa but would she understand that he had only told her to go because he'd thought she was choosing Jaco over him.
He looks away from her and starts to think about how Jaco felt right now. Broken and hurt and maybe even alone.
Valissa starts to moan in her sleep as tears start to cascade down her face. "No! Mommy please don't do it, I need you." She whines in her sleep. "No, please." She sobs. "I love you" and then she starts to whimper. "Ason please don't do this." She twisting and turning. "Ason let me explain!" she pleads. "Ason I have feelings for you" she says in her sleep so clearly that he thinks she awake now.
He looks down at her and she's still asleep.
"Valissa" he says softly trying to wake her up. It honestly hit him deep now that he knew she was crying his name in her sleep.
She moans.
"Valissa" he shakes her a little. "Valissa wake up"
Valissa is starting to come conscious but not enough.
"Valissa please wake up now" he shakes her harder.
Valissa's eyes open and she looks in front of her confused as to why there is a wall there, until she feels arms wrapped around her.
She looks up thinking that it's Jaco. She didn't want to be rude but he would have to get his arms from around her.
She looks up into Jaco's face and locks eyes with oceanic blue ones. This was not Jaco.
Nobodies eyes were that blue but----.
She gasps. "Ason?" she questions thinking she was still asleep.
He smiles down at her, a true genuine smile. "Hey, Lissa"
She reacts differently than what he thought she would. She glares at him and forcefully pushes her hands against his sternum, painfully. "Get off of me"
He frowns.
"Get your fucking arms from around me, now" she'd rather Jaco have his arms around her than him.
Ason frowns confusedly and retracts his arms from around her tiny frame.
"What are you doing here?" she snaps.
He looks down at her and glares. She really wanted to play things her way? Ok, he would play things her way.
He gets up from the bed. "Nothing. I didn't come for anything" He starts to slip his sneakers back on and gets ready to leave.
"Where do you think you're going?" he hears her ask from behind him as he reaches for the knob.
He thought he could come in here and make amends then leave before he could even do it.
Ason spins around with a sigh and frustrated look on his face. "I can't do this Valissa"
"Do what?"
"This!" he says exasperated. "I can't keep playing these mind games with you. I came here to apologize and come win you back but..." he shakes his head dragging his fingers through his hair. "I can't do it"
