Ason didn't want to seem as though he were eavesdropping even though he was. So when the door swung open to reveal Valissa standing there with a look of surprise and like this was the last place she wanted to be; in his presence.

"Ason?" he hears Mickey say behind her. "What are you doing here?"

He continues to stare off into space rethinking about what she had said. 'She didn't want to ruin their relationship', 'he was a hard ass', and least of all 'he has a fucking girlfriend?!' he was also pissed at Mickey for keeping the fact that, that douche Cameron's parent were taking him to court for hooking their sorry excuse of a son. He fucking deserved every last thing and more just like Valissa had said. But that would be for a later time at the house.

"Ason!" someone snaps.

He blinks and looks down at Valissa. "You didn't hear anything did you?" she asks with a slight pink tint to her cheeks.

Oh god! Why did she have to look so fucking gorgeous?

He looks at her with admiration in his eyes. "Uhm..." he shakes his head. "No" He looks behind her at Mickey. "Was I supposed to?" he snaps.

Her eyes widen. "No!" she shakes her head. "Definite no" she says breathing a sigh of relief.

He doesn't miss the way that she rakes her eyes over his body slowly... and rather appreciatively.

He doesn't stop her because quite honestly he was eye fucking her also. He loved the way that shirt hugged her boobs and showed off all of her assets. He also liked how she was taller from the heels but still shorter than him by almost 6 to 7 inches.

"Valissa you should get to class" Mickey says breaking their gazes away from each other.

She jumps and looks behind her. "You're right!" she smiles at him and then looks back at Ason. "See you later Ason." She says and walks out.

Ason looks at her over his shoulder and watches as her hips sway side to side without her even trying to, it was just in the way she walked; and it was goddamned sexy.

"So do tell me why you were at my office door eavesdropping." Mickey says with his arms crossed across his chest.

He looks back at Mickey glumly. "Shut up" He walks into the office shutting the door.

"So what is this that I hear you were pressed up against a blonde in the back alcove?" Mickey tries to ask nonchalantly.

Ason shrugs walking over to Mickey's desk looking around for the passes. "Nothing... the bitch thought it was more than it actually was when all I wanted was her help." He finds it. "Ah!"

Mickey looks at him weirdly. "Hold on I have to make a call." He says walking behind his desk and picking up the phone and dialing the extension line.

"Hello, Mrs. Davidson." He says with a smile. "I was just calling to inform you that Valissa will be on her way to your class."

He pauses then nods. "Yes we were discussing some things."

He laughs a little. "Ason won't be coming in today. I have him in my office now. Can you please let Jaco know and tell Ms. Mercer that she can meet him at our house later?"

He pauses again. "Yes ma'am. Thank you. Alright have a good day." He hangs up.

Mickey looks back at Ason. "Now sit" he commands.

Ason sighs. "Why did you tell her that?" he asks sitting down. "I want to go to class."

Mickey glares at him. "Because we need to get some things straight with this little ordeal involving you, Valissa and Jaco."

Ason looks away. "What are you talking about? There is no ordeal."

Mickey scoffs. "Oh really? Well how come every time I say something dealing with the three of you, you look away or try to avoid it?"

Ason's eyes snap in his direction. "Because there isn't ANYTHING!" he says angrily. "There will never be anything!"

Suddenly Mickey gets serious. "She has feelings for you, Ason"

Ason looks at him depressed. "I know don't remind me"

Mickey looks at him stupidly. "What the hell do you mean, 'don't remind you?'" he start yelling. "The girl that you want is into you and you don't want to be reminded of that?" he shakes his head. "Maybe she is right to be with Jaco."

Ason didn't want to admit it but that actually hurt. "Yeah, well that's fine with me" he says getting up.

"No!" Mickey yells. "You are going to sit here and listen to what I have to say!"

Ason sighs. "I don't have time for this!" he bites out bitterly.

"Well make damn time Ason!" he scowls. "I am your older brother---"

"Yes which means you are not Cupid or my fairy godmother." Ason snaps.

"and I want to see you happy not miserable and I saw the way you were looking at Valissa not too long ago. You want her Ace, just admit it." He pressures.

Ason gets angry. "Fuck Mickey!" he yells. "Why can't you just leave shit alone? Huh?" he stands up pissed. "Of course I fucking want her! She's beautiful, gorgeous, smart, has a sense of humor and at the same time goddamn annoying. She has a fire about her that I wish it was meant for me to tame but I just don't think I'd be good for her, I'd do nothing but hold her back!" he rips off his beanie. "And I want to go to Europe when I graduate! I'm pretty sure she has family that she wants to see, I couldn't take her away from here"

Mickey looks at Ason with a smile on his face. "Go to her parties"

"Parties?"

Mickey nods and clasps his hand on top of his desk. "Yes she's having these parties from Thursday to Saturday. Go to them and get your girl."

Ason shakes his head. "I can't go"

"Why?"

"Because if I start my project Wednesday, which is tomorrow, I'll be able to finish it by Friday"

"Just do your project another time"

Ason shakes his head. "No I'm doing it Thursday and Friday"

"But that's when the parties are starting."

Ason shrugs. "Well maybe I'll go to the one on Saturday."

Mickey sighs. "Whatever" he waves Ason away. "Get out"

Ason nods his head perfectly fine with that. "I need your keys" He watches Mickey sigh and roll his eyes. Mickey tosses him the car keys and Ason's out of there.

"Get your girl, Ason" Mickey calls out. "She has a date with Jaco Friday"

Ason stops in his tracks and turns slowly. "What?"

Mickey nods. "You better hurry. I'm sure Jaco will understand"

Ason sighs; the pressure was real lying weighing in on his shoulders now. Get the girl of his dreams and destroy his relationship with his brother or be miserable while his brother is 'happy' with the girl of his dreams?

Decisions, decisions.
