*Aspen's POV*

I take in the scene set before me. It's a big and tall oak tree that's strung with lights and below is a small round table set for two.

"When did you have the time I do this?", I say and he laughs.

"I actually got Heagyn and a couple of others to help out this together. Do you you like it?", he says and I look over at him.

"I love it. It lets amazing.", I say and Brody gets out of his side and walks around to my door and opens it for me.

"Than you.", I say and walk over to the table.

Brody opens the back door and pulls out a basket of food. He walks over and pours me some lemonade into a glass.

This truly is amazing.

*Sage's POV*

Ryker grabs one of the movies and puts it in. He sits down next to me about an inch away from me.

"You know you can put your arm around me. I won't bite.", I say and he laughs.

"Sorry. It's just- never mind.", he says. Great. Now I'm curious.

"Ryker. What?", I say and he looks at me.

"It's just, I respect you. And I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable or anything.", he says and I can't help but feel a smile creep into my face.

I decide to take a chance. A leap. I lean in to where we are only an inch apart.

I can feel his heart beat radiating off of him. Finally, he closes the gap between us. I bring my hand up to his face and pull him closer. I feel his arm snake around my waist.

After a few more seconds, he pulls away slowly. He stares at me for what feels like a year before he says, "God you're so beautiful."

I feel my face get hot and I smile. He wraps an arm around me while we wait for the movie to start. With his free hand he grabs my hand and laces his fingers with mine.

"Told you I wouldn't bite", I say and he starts laughing.

*Brody's POV*

"So tell me about what you like? About you?", I say and she chuckles.

"Umm well I like the color blue, animals, and music. There's more but I can't really think of anything else.", she says and I laugh.

"Oh well that's nice. Do you like swimming?", I ask and she shakes her head.

"I have a fear of water. I can't go under water. It scares me. Like I'll go swimming but I have to be able to touch the floor.", she says and I nod

"Wow. I didn't think you were afraid of anything.", I say and she smiles.

"Everyone's afraid of something.  Even if they don't know it yet.", she says and I nod.

My god she's amazing.

*Aspen's POV*

"What about you?", I say and he shrugs his shoulders.

"I don't know. I like all kinds of things.", he says and I laugh.

"Well what about your parents?", I say and he tenses.

"My parents aren't the greatest. My dad used to be great though. He used to always spends time with me, but then he got this promotion and now all he wants is money.", he says and I look down.

"I'm sorry I asked.", I say and he looks at me.

"No it's fine. I don't really care.", he says but I know he is lying. I decide to just leave that subject alone.

"Well the food was amazing. Where'd you buy it from?", I say and he laughs.

"I got it from a place that I will not name.", he says and I laugh.

"Okay. You do you." I say and he laughs.

"Listen. I probably know what the answer is, but you feel like a swim?", he says and I think this over in my head.

"Where?", I ask and smiles.

"At the pool by my house.", he says and I smile.

"Isn't it closed right now?", I say.

"All we gotta do is jump the fence."he says and stands up holding out his hand to me.

"Fine.", I agree.

I'm definitely gonna regret this.

"We don't have to. I know you're scared of the water.", he says and I smile.

"It's fine. Besides you'll be there to hold me.", I say and he opens the car door for me.
