*Brody's P.O.V*

I pull up into my drive way and quietly enter my home. All the lights are off so I use my flashlight to get around.

As I walk up the stairs I hear my name being called from downstairs.

"What?" I ask rolling my eyes.

"I was making sure it was you honey. Goodnite." My mom says lightly and I continue my way to my room.

I lay down in my bed reeking of alcohol and weed from the party. I decided to go straight to sleep and my eyes became heavy fairly quickly.

*Aspen's P.O.V*

I nudge Sage's arm and she looks at me.

"Let's help clean up." I smile and she agrees.

"You dont have to help guys! I will clean it up." Heagyn slurs almost falling on his face.

"Come on Heagyn. Let's get you to bed." Ryker comes over and smiles, "Sorry for him."

"He's not a problem." I laugh and get the other side of him.

"I got him Aspen. I don't need him hurting you." Ryker says.

"It's alright. I have had much experience with people like him." I look at Sage.

"I have never in a million years been in that state." She squints.

"Mhm. Sure." I roll my eyes and Ryker chuckles.

"I got you, Asp." She smirks and I shift my weight becoming slightly scared.

"Thank you. Let's take him to his room." Ryker informs and we take him up.

As we get away from Sage, Ryker is first to speak.

"So you and Brody?" He wriggles his eyebrows.

"What?" I act clueless.

"Y'all talking or?"

"Talking? No. He would never go for someone like me." I shrug my shoulders.

"Why do all girls think like that?" He huffs.

"Like what?"

"I'm not his type. He won't like someone like me." He uses quotation marks.

"Because when you like someone totally opposite it's usually because you are intrigued by them. But you know you are no where near as confident in that category that they are categorized in. Sorry if that doesn't make sense." I explain.

"It makes sense. Your saying people like people that are the opposite of how the act, their social class, yeah?" He asks.

"Yeah."

"Shh! I'm trying to sleep!" Heagyn puts a finger to our mouths.

"Well since you want to be nosey and ask about Brody, I'm going to ask about you and Sage?"

"Nothing. She is cute but I'm no good for her." He shrugs.

"Why do guys always say that?" I mimick him.

"Because we know what we are capable of and she could do much better than me."

"What if I happened to tell you information that could help you?" I smile.

"What information could possibly change my mind?" I ask curiously.

"Guess you'll have to find out." I shrug and we set Heagyn down and I walk away with a smirk.

"Bye Ryker!" I wave and wait for his returning gesture.

"Come on Sage. Let's go home." I smile and she nods with a face full of concern.
