*Ryker's POV*

I grab Sage's hand and kiss it. She smiles at me then lays down and places her head in my chest.

I close my eyes and place with her hair.

"Ryker?", she says.

"Yeah babe?", I say and she sits up.

She looks down at her hands and then says, "I know about your dad."

I sit up and look at her.

"Your mom told me. Ryker I'm so sorry.", she says and grabs my hand.

"He was a good person. He didn't deserve what happened to him.", I say and look at her.

She wraps her arms around me and kisses my neck.

"Thank you.", I say and she nods.

*Aspen's POV*

I wake up in Brody's arms. I sigh and look up at him. He's still asleep so I don't try and move. I watch his chest as it moves up and down from his breathing.

What did I do to deserve this. Him.

I look at him again and he sighs and opens his eyes.

"Hey baby. You okay?", he says and I smile.

"Yeah I'm great.", I say and kiss him. I feel him wrap his arms around my waist.

"You're amazing babe.", he says and I smile.

"So I've been told.", I say and he laughs.

"Oh my god we have school in the morning. I really don't wanna face that.", I say and he raises his eyebrows.

"You know we could skip?", he says and I smile.

"We would get in trouble.", I say and he laughs.

"Come on babe. It'll be fun.", he says and I smile.

"Okay fine. Where we gonna go?", I say and he looks at the ceiling.

"How about we go to the beach? No one will be there since its gonna be Monday.", he says and I smile.

"Okay. That sounds good.", I say and he smiles.

I stand up and walk over to the mirror. I look at the bruise on my face and sigh.

Brody stands up, walks over to me and wraps his arms around my waist.

"You're still beautiful.", he says and I smile.

*Sage's POV*

"Are you hungry?", I say and reach for my phone.

"Yeah. I could eat.", Ryker says.

"Okay. I'm gonna order Chinese.", I say and start dialing the number.

"Okay babe.", he says and kisses my neck.

"I need to be able to order.", I say and put the phone to my ear.

"You've got it babe.", he says while kissing my neck.

I place our order only stuttering twice. When I hang up the phone, I give Ryker a look.

"What?", he says acting innocent.

"I hate you.", I say and he touches his hand to his heart.

"But I don't.", he says and kisses my cheek.

"God you irritate me.", I say but he still smiles at me.

"Okay baby.", he says and I scoff.

"You're gonna make me wanna kill you.", I say and he laughs.

"Baby. I don't think you'd ever hurt me like that.", he says making me more irritated.

I try and think of something else to say, but I decide to just ignore him.

"Baby.", he says and I stay silent.

"Sage.", he says and I look over to my window.

I smile to myself and walk to my desk.

"Baby. Please. I can't stand you ignoring me.", he says and I act like I can't hear him.

I grab my headphones and put them in so I can't hear him. Ryker walks over to me and grabs my hand.

With his free hand he grabs my headphones and takes them out of my ears.

"Baby. I would appreciate it if you didn't ignore me.", he says and I look at him.

"Are you gonna keep irritating me?", I say and he kisses my head.

"No baby. I was just trying to get a rise out of you.", he says and I laugh.

"Whatever.", I say and kiss him.
