I woke up to my phone ringing. Apparently I was already 4pm.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Lin, we have an idea," Suga said. "It's risky, though, so I'm not sure if we're gonna go through with it."

"Let's hear it," I said and put him on speaker.

"Okay, one of us is going to be the lucky one to have you as a fake girlfriend."

"Woah, okay. This already sounds crazy. Rap told me not to do anything."

"We're not gonna tell Rap. Just trust me on this," he assured me. "That's gonna make Manager realize that you're not dating Jungkook, so he's gonna have to bring him back, single, and in one piece."

"Wouldn't it just make Manager do the same thing to you?"

"That's a concern, but we're hoping that if you and that person disappears, he won't be able to kidnap you guys and force you to China."

I think for a moment.

That manager is really scary. He can even get me killed.

"I don't know.. That sounds difficult."

Suga sighed, "It's worth a shot. He's tough on the outside, but he's weak in the inside. Remember, we're talking about Jungkook."

His name refreshed me and it made me determined.

"I'm in," I said, confidently.

"Are you really sure?" Suga asked. "You're most likely to be with Jimin, if that's a concern."

"Not at all," I said.

Now the plan is out.

"Don't do it Lin," I heard Jay say from the kitchen. "It's dangerous."

I didn't reply until he walked in my room. He grabbed my phone.

"Look here, kid," Jay said to Suga. "I'm not letting Linnie go anywhere or fake-date anyone, alright?"

The term kid was thrown loosely, yet harshly. Jay was only a year or two older than Suga.

"Sunbae," Suga started, but Jay then turned off speaker.

"No no," Jay said, hyped and standing up. "I let this dumb bastard have her, and now you're asking her to risk her life trying to save him?!"

He waited a moment for Suga to respond.

"He's changed, Suga!" He said. "He's a different person! He's acting like a spoiled brat, so maybe this is a way for him to get a lesson."

Jay sighed right after his sentence.

"I went too far," He said. "But I don't want anything to happen to Linnie, understand me? .. Alright.. Bye."

He hung up and tossed me my phone.

"Linnie," he said and looked me straight in the eye. "I've worked so hard to keep you safe and I don't want anything happening to you. Do me a favor and don't go anywhere."

He waited for me to answer, but I didn't. I just looked away.

He continued to look at me with sad eyes, but left after several moments.

What am I going to do?

----

I stayed in my room, staring into the ceiling, thinking about life.
