Chapter 23

It was already 3AM and I was still in the hospital's waiting room.

I think my nerves have calmed down, since nobody has been coming in and out to tell me any news.

Linnie's currently in the surgical room, or whatever it's called. I can only imagine them pumping out all that alcohol from her stomach and stitching up those slashes.

I still haven't gotten any notifications from General Kim about that bitch ass Daesuk yet, but I'm waiting on it.

I've watched the employees switch out their positions at least twice since I got put here. I don't have the audacity to rest yet.

The door busted open and a group of guys stumbled in. They rushed to me.

"Yah! Maknae!" Jin shouted.

He pulled me up from the chair and hugged me tightly.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"You think we're not gonna do anything?" Rap said.

"That's at least a 5 hour drive to here," I mumbled.

"It doesn't matter how long it was," J-Hope said. "We knew we had to get here ASAP."

"B-buht.." I stuttered.

I don't know why I could barely speak. Everything felt slow to me.

"Hey, you should go get some rest," Jin said. "You look wasted."

"I'm fine!" I yelled. "I'm okay!"

"Come on, Jungkook," V said, "you need to sleep. I can't imagine what you've been through."

"We'll tell you when we get some news," Suga said.

"I'm okay, I promise," I assured them.

~~Jimin's POV~~

I stood there, just staring.

My heart was pounded in my chest; I couldn't bring myself to do it.

"Come on, you're gonna be okay," I whispered to myself. "Just do it."

I lifted my hand to hold it, but I stopped mid-way.

"If you're thinking of doing anything stupid, you're gonna regret it," Jay said behind me.

He wasn't close to me at all, but I could still feel his hot ass breath.

"If you're so worried, why aren't you doing anything already?" I mumbled.

"I'm not worried, just unsure," He said. "I'm not stupid enough to get worked up on you. If you really love your brother, you'd keep your damn mouth shut about your little fiasco with Linnie."

"Stop talking already," I said. "I'm sure he and I both know not to mention it."

Jay gave me that final push to get me to open that waiting room door.

The guys weren't tired at all; we slept in the car. But Jungkook looked almost lifeless as he slept.

"We finally got him to shut the fuck up and sleep," Rap said. "That boy's been up since 5AM."

"Did he tell you anything so far?" I asked.

They shook their heads.

"All we know is that Linnie was fucking around with Daesuk."

That name hit me like a bullet, and I looked back at Jay, who was as shocked as I was.

"You got some explaining to do to Jungkook," Suga said to Jay and I.
