I woke up around 12pm and watched TV until 4pm.
I didn't want to leave the house, 'cause if I did, I would get attacked by fans.
But I wanted to go shopping tonight, since I saw a pair of shoes I liked in Myeongdong.
It was still pretty early in the Myeongdong night-life and it was a Wednesday, so there shouldn't be as much people there.
I sighed and got up from the couch and went into my room.
Let's hope I don't get jumped.
I covered myself up as much as possible.
I wore a light long-sleeve shirt and black tights, but brought a tank top and shorts as well for whenever it gets too hot and I'm alone.
I braided my hair into two and put on a hat and mask.
"Jay, I'm going shopping in Myeongdong," I shouted before exiting through the door.
He was probably still mad at me, but he should still know where I'm going.
Since we lived in Gangnam, it was a far train ride to the shopping district.
I walked down to the Nodeul train station and headed there on Line 9.
I went up the stairs of the Myeongdong station and immediately saw Nature Republic--the beauty store.
I couldn't relate to any of the makeup items they sold, since they only sold pale makeup.
I had to get makeup from the American brands in Korea.
I got out of the store and saw a lot of people crowding the streets.
A lot more people than I expected.
And then it hit me.
All of the girls were wearing fake tans.
Not a single pale-faced, teenage girl in sight.
My jaw dropped.
Jimin and I started a trend.. The new Asian trend is here--and it's getting a tan!
I reached for my phone in my bag and dialed Jimin's number.
"Hello?" He answered.
"You won't believe this.." I said.
I told him about everything, but he wasn't surprised.
"Celebrities do that all the time," He said. "But I can admit that we changed a major part of the beauty industry."
"This is crazy," I said and laughed, then sighed. "Well it seems like you're busy so I'll hang up now. See ya."
"Sorry, Lin. Bye," Jimin said and hung up.
I looked around and smiled. I wasn't standing out anymore. I'm finally fitting in.
I changed in a restroom in a nearby cafe before I headed over to the ABC Mart from yesterday and bought a pair of Nike Foamposites.
The cashier did the transaction and I thanked him. I turned around and almost bumped into a guy, who was a lot more built than a regular Asian guy.
He wore a GoForBroke tank top, which showed off his muscles and his tiger-head tattoo on his right arm, and khaki shorts, with a simple Nike hat.
He had a diamond stud earring on his right ear, a gold G-Shock watch, and a Buddhist bead bracelet.
He reminded me of Jay sunbae, only with more muscles.
