1: The Preacher's Son

Levi's green eyes scanned the pages of his book. He smiled, a dimple appearing only on his left cheek. "Hey preacher's son!". Levi's eyes widened at the familiar voice. He quickly closed his book and in a rampant manner gathered his stuff. He got up to his feet, before he could take a step someone grabbed his right shoulder and slammed him back against the lockers. "Hey! I'm talking to you... preacher's son". Levi slowly slid down the lockers. His back ached from the impact. As he looked up, his vision blurred with tears that gathered in his eyes. A blurry figure that looked too familiar stood above him. He dropped his head, light brown locks of hair fell to cover his face. His body slowly giving up as he went limp.

The male that stood above him laughed softly. "Wh-what do you want Sebastian..?" Levi's voice cracked. He looked back up at the male, Sebastian's blue eyes scanned Levi. A pleasing smile appeared on his lips. "Well just the usual you know. Push you around a little, probably take your money. So why don't we get this over with?" Sebastian smirked and reached for Levi, a sadistic look in his eyes. He grabbed the front of Levi's shirt and dragged him up against the lockers. Levi felt his cheeks get wet with tears, he wanted to scream but no sound would leave his parted lips. Two guys that were with Sebastian laughed, Levi looked at them through tears. 'How did I not notice them..?'. From the corner of his eye he saw Sebastian's fist get raised in the air. He Let out a cry as Sebastian's closed fist connected with his middle side. Sebastian let out a diabolical laugh and dropped him. He tugged Levi's backpack off his limp body and searched it for his wallet. A sigh coming from him as the feeling of the familiar leather rubbed against his fingers. He pulled it out and opened it. Inside was a dollar bill and a 20. He took out the money and slid it inside the pocket of his jersey jacket. He threw the wallet at Levi and emptied the contents of Levi's backpack on top of him. "Have fun, I'll see you tomorrow preacher's son"

Sebastian and his buddies walked away, Levi watched them through his bangs. He curled up and laid on the ground of the gym's lockers. Too weak to stand up he slowly pushed himself up. The taste of iron in his mouth. He started crying again, frustrated tears running down his pink cheeks. He wanted to denigrate Sebastian. If everyone could see him for who he was. "I hate you Sebastian Grimmore!!" Levi screamed at the top of his lungs. His voice full of rancor. He hid his face on his arms as he placed them on his knees. He let the tears fall. 'I hate him...I hate him'. After minutes of crying Levi had the strength to get up. As he did so all the things that were on him fell to the sides. He didn't even feel like picking them up. He started walking towards the door, an arm wrapped around his middle. The pain was slowly fading but it wasn't enough. Levi's eyes closed as he opened the front doors to the gym. He was hit by the noises of the crowded hallway. He let the door slam behind him, not caring of the looks he got. He pushed his way through the crowd. Unlike the others he was short, standing 4'7 ft tall. He was diminutive another reason why Sebastian enjoyed bullying him.

The day went by fast, Levi was sent to the office during 8th period for yelling at a teacher. There at the office was Sebastian. Levi gripped the door handle and glared at him. Sebastian stood there a doleful expression in his eyes. Behind him his mother sobbed uncontrollably, Levi noticed his father wasn't around. "I-Is this a bad time? I can come back later.." Levi spoke from the door, Sebastian looked at him and stomped towards him. He pushed him back. Levi stumbled losing his balance and fell on his behind. "Get out of my way you freak!" Sebastian shouted and ran out leaving Levi to cry. He slowly got up and brushed dust from his behind. He stood in the middle of the hall watching Sebastian run away. He heard his name being called from inside the office. He went inside and looked at Sebastian's mother, 'She looks so broken..' Levi walked around her and went to the principal. He sat down when he was motioned to. The female came into the room and sat down next to Levi. She pressed a napkin to her cheeks, gently drying her tears away. "Levi, this is Ms.Grimmore. I'm sure you already know she's Sebastian's mother. The reason she was here as to let us know that her husband passed away.." The principal explained to Levi, he just stared at the principal with a confused countenance.
