Natasha woke up again, surrounded by Steve's arms. She felt a small smile on her lips as she breathed in his scent. She looked up at his face only to realise that he was still deep in his sleep. She looked at his face for a while, enjoying it. She realised she had never seen him sleep before that night and the sight calmed her. She glanced at the watch on his nightstand. It was around 5am and thought it would be best if she left. She hated the awkward moment the day after.
She kissed his arm a few times and gave a last glance at Steve's sleeping face before she covered her naked body with a blanket. Not because she had any problem with Steve waking up to see her naked, it's just that the apartment was freezing cold. And it got even colder when she had to part from Steve's warm body. She slipped out of bed quietly as Steve kept sleeping. She looked around the floor after her clothes but found none. Her mind was a bit blurry from the night before and she had no idea where her clothes went. All she could remember was Steve's hands all over her body and his lips pressed to her skin. She shivered at the thought and found one of her heels by the refrigerator.
After a while of searching, she found her remaining shoe, dress and underwear spread out over the apartment. She quickly put them on before heading out the door.
Steve woke up with a smile on his face. He turned around to look at Natasha when he realised she was gone. His smile faded and his eyebrows furrowed. He stood up, grabbed a pair of boxers and put them on before he walked out of the bedroom. His eyes went to the refrigerator only to find that her heel was missing. The clear memory of her dropping one last night as she pressed him towards the refrigerator with her tongue down his throat still replayed in his mind.
He sighed a bit but got dressed and decided to go and look for her. It was almost 6am and he knew she'd never go back to sleep at this hour. He left the apartment in hopes that he would find Natasha.

Natasha tiptoed on her way to the gym at the compound. She needed some time to think. Think it all through. Maybe accept it was the right word. Accept what had happened that night and how much she had absolutely loved every second of it. Every second of him. Luckily for her, no one was here at this time of the day so she had the gym all to herself.
She crossed the floor of the gym and reaches a door that lead to a dancing studio. Natasha had only been there a couple of times before. She didn't dance a lot these days, but sometimes, she felt a need to. She stepped into the room and immediately saw her reflection in all the mirrors on the wall. She looked at herself for a while, not enjoying everything she saw. People might lust after her, but that didn't mean she had no problems with her own body. She had quite a few.
She went to the little stereo and connected her phone to it as she put on a song she had become very found of through the years, precisely as everyone else. She typed in "Swan lake, Op.20, Suite: 1. Scene- Swan Theme" and put it on replay a few times. She then put on her pink ballerina slippers and took a deep breath before putting on the music. The sweet melody came out from the speakers, sounding as innocent as a child. She loved every second of this song. How the sweet melody could trick anyone before it burst out in a dramatic melody that made her shiver. She let out all her feeling on that floor, jumping around, making twirls in the air. She closed her eyes and let her hair flew around her head. She felt the air in her face as her body moved quickly over the room with grace. Her arms and legs knew the drill and did as her mind commanded them to. She twirled and twirled to the dramatic but extremely beautiful melody as her thoughts wandered free. It was as if they disappeared from her head and spread across the room, only for everyone else to share. After a while, she didn't think of anything at all. The only thing that ran though her mind was a melody that made her heart beat faster. This was the only time she felt she could control anything. The only time she felt free, when all her pain disappeared.

Steve heard a sweet melody as he entered the gym. He had heard the song before, no doubt. He made his way across the gym, following the sound and encountered a door he had never seen before. He quietly opened it only to realise it was a dance studio, with walls full of mirrors. But his eyes was drawn to the person that was showed in every mirror. Her red hair burned as she crossed the floor with such grace that Steve's jaw dropped open. His mind became a blur as she made beautiful twirls in the air only to land back at her feet with perfect balance. His eyes turned to watch her face. That face.. She looked to be at peace. He could see how every twirl, every step made her calm. How she got lost in the song. And yes the song.. It reminded him of her. The sweet and innocent beginning before the big storm and the dramatic melody began. Everything about the song suited her perfectly. Every note was written as if it described all the beautiful that she is. He stood there for a good while, surprised that Natasha had not yet noticed him. Her mind was on other things as she flew over the floor, as gracious as a swan. He watched her dance through the song she had put on repeat three times before he convinced himself to interrupt her dancing, even though it hurt to interrupt something so beautiful. He slowly walked over the floor and stood behind her as he put his hands on her waist. Right after doing so, he realised that it might have been a bad idea to startle the Black Widow but to his luck, she only opened her eyes and got a startled expression on her face. She stared at him through the mirror.
"How long have you been here?" She asked, catching her breath. "Not that long." He said as Natasha got shivers down her spine by Steve's gentle touch. "What are you doing here?" She asked instead as she turned around and he let go of her waist. "Can't I visit a friend?" He said with half a smile that broke her calm expression into a small smile. "So I'm still a friend huh?" She asked with a smirk, looking into his eyes. "It did not seem that way last night." She said and he smirked.
Steve blushed a bit at her words and looked down at her shoes. "Ballet? I didn't know you danced." He said with a shy smile and she sighed.
"I didn't plan to tell you either." She said, walking over to the small stereo and turned off the music. "Honestly, I haven't danced in a long time." She said and he put his hands in his pockets. "But you were unbelievable." Steve began as Natasha walked closer to him. "Thanks, I guess." She said, giving him a half smile. They stared at each other for a few seconds, enjoying the view as thoughts about the night slipped through their heads. "What are you doing here?" Natasha asked again, this time with a small smile.
"Looking for you, of course. Why did you leave this morning?" He asked taking a step closer to her and grabbed her hand.
She looked away when he did and he could tense her getting nervous. She hesitated a bit before opening her cherry red lips to speak. "I've always been a go to bed with at night person. Not a wake up in the morning with person." She said as Steve was amazed by her brutal honesty. Natasha quickly raised both of her eyebrows a bit before biting her lower lip. "Men always go to bed with a dream and wake up with a nightmare." She said and Steve shook his head. "Well, in that case, I looked forward waking up to a nightmare this morning. I had actually planned making breakfast for you." Steve said and Natasha raised one of her eyebrows with a smirk. "Really?" She asked and he nodded.
"Really." He said. She smiled a bit before taking a few steps forward, giving him a small kiss on the lips that made Steve's cheeks tomato red. "It's still morning." She said as he looked into her eyes. "And breakfast sound pretty good." She said as Steve smiled brightly.
"Good." He said as he closely followed her out of the dancing studio.
