They didn't even have time to make their breakfast as they both got a call from Fury saying that they had an early mission. Some of the members in The XX might have been found in an old industry building outside of the city. It wasn't many members so only Steve, Natasha and some other agents were send out.
"We'll have to split up into two groups." Steve said as the agents were gathered about one mile from the old industry. Natasha stood next to him, waiting for him to finish. "Half of you take the back way.." He said, pointing at one half of the group. "And the rest of you will go with me and Natasha." He continued and Natasha frowned. "Don't you think one of us should go with the other group?" Natasha asked and Steve shook his head. "No, it'll be easier this way." He said and Natasha almost chuckled. "What are you talking about? They need someone to guide them through the building. I'm going with them." Natasha said, checking her guns. Steve looked at her, disagreeing but knew there was no idea arguing with her. They didn't have that much time on their hands either.
"Fine." He said and Natasha turned to her group. "Follow me. We'll take the back way. Have your guns ready, we don't know for sure what we'll encounter." Natasha said to her group who nodded at her words. "Let's move." She said and took a step but was stopped by a hand around her arm. She looked back and realised Steve's hand squeezed tightly around her arm. She looked at his hand before meeting his eyes.
"What?" She asked. He just stared at her blankly for a few seconds before letting go of her arm. She frowned. "Be careful." He said and she raised her eyebrows in surprise, wanting to shoot everyone that glanced back at them. "Of course. You too." She said with a small smile before heading after her group. Steve took a deep breath before directing his group in the right way. He looked over his shoulder only to find Natasha glancing back at him as well. She turned her face forward immediately and her her black cat suit soon disappeared between the trees.

Natasha walked through the quiet forest, only hearing the sound of the agent feet behind her and her own breaths. She knew that she was on an important mission but couldn't help to look around at the nature, enjoying some environment change.
After a while of walking, the big industry building laid in front of them. It looked completely abounded from the outside, but if she'd consider how big it was, it could hide several groups of terrorists or likewise.
They got to the backside of the building only to find two different doors. She bit her lower lip a bit as she mumbled a curse in Russian. She decided to split her team up. She gave commando to one of the men to take the group to the right door while she'd take the left one. They didn't want to risk anyone escaping by leaving one way free and after all, she worked better alone than with other agents hurrying after her.
The agent entered the right door and disappeared into the building. Natasha held one of her guns in her hand and entered the building as well. As she opened the door, a long dark hallway was shown and it took her a while to adjust her eyes to the dark light. She creeped through the corridors that seemed to be miles long. "Natasha, what's your status?" She heard Steve's voice from her earpiece and grinned. "I'm currently in a long dark hallway. How about you Cap? Scared of the dark?" She asked him with a grin. "I'm? Where's the team?" He asked and she rolled her eyes. "There was two doors. They're fine." She said, taking a left turn. "Of course they are. They're not alone." He said and she began walking a bit faster, tired of the never ending hallways.
"Just because you're scared of the dark doesn't mean I have to be, Rogers." She said, grinning at how annoyed he was.
Natasha soon reached another door that was, to her luck, open. She held up her gun in front of her face and quietly opened the door only to find what looked like an old office. She kept on walking, trying to find any sign of life. The whole building was dead quiet. An uncomfortable quiet. That type of quiet that you hear in a zombie movie right before the zombies appear and kill everyone.
Natasha didn't let her get scared though. Not much scared her these days, she'd almost always been through worse. She took a right turn and regretted that decision immediately as gun shots was heard and she hid behind the wall. "Steve, I believe I've found some of them." She said as gun shots was pattering her way. "What?! Where are you?" He asked worrying through the earpiece. She ignored him as she peeked out from her hiding spot and shot a few bullets towards the people in the hallway. She hit one man who fell to the ground. She cursed a bit as the gun shots began pattering again.
She grabbed a round thing from her suit and threw it towards the men as a gas started come out from the round silver thing. She waited for a while to make sure they were all passed out by the gas before she stepped forwards. She let the gas fade before stepping towards the men on the ground. "Steve, I have the situation under control." She said to calm him down as he wouldn't stop asking questions about what happened and where she was. "They have nothing on them." Natasha said as she looked through the men. "They can't be the ones we're looking for. It'd be too easy." She said.
"You sure?" Steve asked and Natasha nodded but remembered he couldn't see it.
"They're just the bait." She said as she walked past them. "There's probably more of them than we thought." She said through the earpiece as she contin
