"Rogers." Steve turned around only to face Natasha a few meters behind him. She had a professional look on her face and walked with her head high. "Nat." He said with a small smile. She gave him half of a smile back before she walked over to him.
"What's up?" He asked and she shook her head, smiling a bit at his attempt to seem younger than he actually was. "I actually got something for you." She said and he saw the white letter in her left hand. She waved it in front of his face and he took it. She watched him curiously as he opened the letter. In it was a pink note and Steve looked up at Natasha with a grin.
"You wrote me a love letter?" He joked with both of his eyebrows raised. She hit him in the arm.
"Just read it." She said and he looked down at the letter again only to realise that it was written with a child's handwriting. "Steve, I want you on my birthday party. All my friends are coming and you are my friend. It's on Sunday. I hope you can come. Hugs, Lila." Steve read out loud and Natasha smiled. He looked at Natasha.
"I'm invited to her birthday party?" He said with a smirk.
"Well, apparently you attract all types of woman. If you don't come, I will kill you." She said seriously. He chuckled a bit but understood how much it meant to Lila which meant that it also meant a great deal to Natasha. "I didn't realise you wanted me there so bad." He said with a smirk and she turned the heel to walk out of the room. "I'll see you Sunday." She said. He nodded.

Clint's house were basically turned into a balloon of congratulations, presents, cake and actual balloons. Steve walked towards the house, holding a well wrapped birthday present to Lila. He had picked it out with care in the store. Lila came running out of the house with her friends who seemed very impressed that she was friends with Captain America. Natasha stood on the front porch, grinning at him. Lila ran up to Steve and he gave her the present with a bright smile.
"Happy birthday!" He said and Lila smiled exited. "Thank you." She said as she blushed a bit.
Some of the kids gave Steve a few hugs before they all ran into the house again. Steve started walking to the front porch and Natasha greeted him with a smirk. "Your fanbase seems to be rising." She said and he laughed.
"I'd choose children over adults any day." He said and she nodded.
"Who wouldn't?" Natasha said and a sad expression drowned her face for a second before it disappeared. A second was long enough for Steve to notice. "What did you buy her?" She asked instead, to fade away whatever was on her mind Steve imagined. Steve smiled a bit at her question. "You'll see."

Steve and Natasha walked into the house as Lila ran to Natasha with an exited smile on her face. "Look Auntie Nat, look!" Lila said as she waved a Black Widow doll in the air. Natasha's eyes widened and she grabbed the doll that looked exactly like her.
"Who gave this to you?" Natasha said surprised and Lila pointed at Steve who grinned. Natasha looked at him as she handed the doll back to Lila who hugged it hard. "You gave her a copy of me?" She asked and he nodded.
"Yeah it was okay right?" He asked.
"Yeah it's just.." Natasha began but Lila interrupted. "Now I have one Black Widow, and one Captain America!" Lila laughed happily as she waved with a Captain America doll in the air. "I bought her one of you." Natasha finished and Steve looked at her, just as surprised as she had been. Natasha grinned. "What was I supposed to do? The girl won't shut up about you!" Natasha said to her defence before glancing at Lila who danced around happily. Steve just laughed and watched the little girl dance around with two copies of him and Natasha pressed to her chest.
