Leo grinned as he went over his plan, a plan so twisted and evil that Gaea would have been impressed. He'd chosen a small building far away from camp, and adjusted it a bit-it was now waterproof, fireproof, bulletproof, lightningproof, and...a lot of other proofs. Basically, Leo, Nico, Percy, Jason, and Thalia-proof. He'd installed microscopic cameras everywhere, and connected them to video screens on the walls. Leo had even sent decoy letters to his friends and his not-so-friends to get them to come. Letters took forever to write, especially with Leo's ADHD. They weren't very reliable, either. But demigods with cell phones? Forget it. It would be like yelling "FREE FOOD RIGHT HERE, COME EAT ME!" to every monster close by.

Leo had set out chairs, sofas, stools, and bean bag chairs in the room. He'd gotten supplies, food, and torture devices. He'd created the ultimate plan.

Soon enough, Leo got a visitor. It was Percy, stumbling through the door and shouting like a lunatic. "WHERE'S THE BLUE CAKE?...Oh." Then Jason appeared, flustered and out of breath. "My...dad...wanted...to see me?" He noticed Leo, and he scowled. "Never mind. It's just you. What's this, anyway?"

Annabeth walked in, looking confused (for the first time in her life). She surveyed the room, brow drawn. Her eyes locked on Leo's. "Oh. Another one of Leo Valdez's schemes."

Nico and Thalia practically knocked down the door. "McDonald's...Where's...the happy meal?" Nico said, breathing heavily. Thalia frowned. "It looks like we've been tricked." She gave Leo a look of grudging respect. "Clever, Valdez. Clever."

Hazel and Frank entered next, wearing their Camp Jupiter T-shirts. They both seemed glum. "You said you had brownies and peach preserves."

Rachel and Grover showed up, Rachel with holes and rips in her jeans and paint splatters all over her shirt, and Grover in a Save the Wild! T-shirt and showing off his furry goat legs. They had bewildered looks on their faces, just like everyone else.

Piper popped in, the only one who didn't look confused. "I figured," she said easily.

Reyna appeared in the doorway, dragging...Octavian? by the collar of his purple T-shirt. "Hey, wait!" Leo said. "I didn't invite you guys."

Reyna rolled her eyes. "Too bad. I found this piece of scum lying around. I couldn't leave him there."

Octavian grinned. "She couldn't resist my handsome face."

Reyna wrinkled her nose. "Why are you even here?"

"I smelled the Greeks," Octavian admitted. "I had an uncontrollable urge to kill them."

Everyone stared at Octavian.

"Um, anyway," Leo said, breaking the tense silence. "Let me explain the rul—"

"WHERE ARE YOU, PUNK!" Clarisse roared, barging in the room. "I'LL KILL YOU, PRISSY!"

Percy gulped. "Um. Annabeth, save me!"

"You destroyed my second electric spear last night! I'M GONNA POUND YOU!" Clarisse yelled.

Clarisse tried to attack Percy, but Leo pressed a button on his tool belt and she could only attack the air. Percy frowned. "Um. I think I lost the curse of Achilles last year. Anyone have an explanation?"

"I do," Leo said. "I made everything Clarisse-proof. She can't attack anything. All of her blows bounce back harmlessly."

Percy nodded. "Sweet. I need my own Clarisse-proof body armor."

Clarisse gave him a death glare. Percy cowered, and Annabeth sighed. "You survived Tartarus without breaking a sweat. Now this?" Annabeth said.

Percy whimpered. "She's scary."

"Um. As I was saying—"

"PIPER!"

Drew sashayed into the room. "You stole my makeup! You are an unworthy daughter of Aphrodite!" she said angrily, brandishing a bottle of hairspray like a weapon.

Piper tried for an innocent look. "Whoops."

Leo cleared his throat. "Um. If we don't keep getting anymore interruptions, let me explain."

Everyone ran for the door, but it was sealed shut. "Sorry, guys. You can't leave yet," Leo said.

Everyone reluctantly took a seat.

"Here are the rules. This is a game of Truth or Dare, and it is a game of violence, betrayal, and painful deaths-"

"It's just a game, Leo," Annabeth huffed. Then she reconsidered. "Well, you got the violence and betrayal part right."

"So. We play two rounds of Truth or Dare, and when the game is finished, we can all exit the room, and you can return to your boring lives. I will choose the first victim—er, player—and ask them if they want to answer a truthful question or complete a daring dare. After the player has answered/completed the truth/dare, then that player chooses another player, until everyone's gone at least once. Then we start a new round. In the end, everyone should have gone twice. The only rule is: don't be too violent." He frowned. "No, scratch that. Violent is good. Just don't die. Who's with me!"

There were some halfhearted cheers.

"I'm glad you're so enthusiastic," Leo muttered. "Let the game begin!"

***********************************************

I wrote this as a bit of comic relief when I was depressed/bored. Someone told me it was the best demigod Truth or Dare they'd ever read. Whoa! I'm happy to hear that! My happiness level just went sky high!

Anyway, as the original cover sucked, I took the liberty to create a much better cover. It took lots of downloading, resizing, and planning. I hope it looks good.

Now looking back on it, my old writing is making me slowly cringe. If you want to read other works of mine, I recommend my Percy Jackson/Divergent crossover, Variance for all of you fans out there. It has about twenty five chapters so far. You can also check out my newest book, The Trials of Aphrodite: Righting the Wrongs. It's a fanfictional story that's based on Rick Riordan's Trials of Apollo. My writing has steadily improved over the years, so I hope you find it enjoyable. I love leaving readers on cliffhangers/making them drown in their own tears. If I ever make a mistake, please point it out. I'm one of those writers that immensely enjoys critical comments from my readers. Insult my writing, my cover, my entire being, It's like giving me a Christmas present. I love feedback.

Thank you!
