"Dare," Annabeth said, surprised that Percy chose her. He couldn't make up good dares, so she was fine.
"I dare you to let a spider crawl up your arm for thirty seconds."
Annabeth froze. "You...YOU...WHAT?"
Percy looked smug. "Do not underestimate the power of the sea."
Annabeth whimpered. "I...It's so scary."
"I believe in you," Piper said.
"You've faced death, and this is scary?" Jason muttered.
Annabeth squared her shoulders. "I'll do it!"
"That's my girl," Leo said.
"Shut up."
"Yes ma'am."
Annabeth walked out of the room, and Percy followed her. Percy picked up a small spider and set it on Annabeth's wrist.
"Deep, calming breaths," he soothed.
Annabeth gritted her teeth from screaming.
"I am seriously enjoying this," Leo said.
The tiny spider slowly crawled up her arm.
Percy counted down thirty seconds. "Okay, Wise Girl, you're done." He took the spider and set it down on the grass. Anger flared in Annabeth's eyes, and she stomped on it furiously, until there was only a black smudge on the ground. "I'm glad I wasn't born a spider," Percy muttered.
"It's dead," Nico said, as if it weren't obvious.
Octavian shuddered. "If I ever want a stuffed animal gutted, I'll call that Athena spawn."
"Shut up," everyone said.
Annabeth walked in and collapsed into her chair. "Clarisse and I," she said, "will team up and kill you together, Seaweed Brain."
"Yay," Percy said.
"Frank. Truth or dare?"
