Rachel Dare Does a Daring Dare

"Ha ha, funny. Dare, obviously."

"I dare you to-" Thalia whispered in her ear so the others couldn't hear. "Propose to Octavian."

"E-excuse me?"

"Do it," Thalia ordered.

"Fine..."

"Octavian I-don't-know-your-last-name, will you marry me?" Rachel dropped to one knee.

"Oh yes! I knew it! She liked me!" Octavian said giddily. "All the ladies love Octavian!"

"Um, no," Leo said. "That's my line."

"YES!" Octavian shouted. Then his smile melted. "Isn't the guy supposed to propose?"

"Um, yes, but..." Rachel choked. "I love you," she ground out.

"Whatever. I DO!"

"You may kiss the bride," Percy said.

"You deserved that, you moron!" Rachel growled, standing over Octavian's beat up body. 

"Wow," Annabeth said. "If I could beat up Percy like that for every time he's an idiot, he'd be dead by now."

"Hey!"

Leo was rolling on the floor laughing by now. He rose to his feet and brushed tears out of his eyes. Clarisse had a smug look on her face. "You fight well for a mortal, Rachel."

Octavian still hadn't gotten up off the floor. He resembled a deformed rag doll. "Help," he croaked.

"Leo," Rachel said. "Truth or dare?"
