Grover Goes Savage

Grover's face fell. "Dare, I guess?"

"I dare you to eat meat."

Grover choked. "Eat...WHAT?"

"It's against his 'nature'," Percy said. "Seriously, who can't eat a cheeseburger?"

Leo handed him a cheeseburger. "It's all you, man."

Grover's face twisted with revulsion. Then he frowned. "How'd you whip up a cheeseburger so fast?'

"Uh, I came prepared."

Grover closed his eyes. "Here goes nothing. Oh, please don't kill me, Juniper."

He swallowed the burger in two bites. Everyone winced.

Grover puked. "Ugh. Don't tell anyone I ate this. It'll ruin my vegetarian reputation!"

"Too late," Leo said. "The cameras are recording everything we do. I'm sending the tape to the gods up on Olympus. They'd love to see what their children do in their spare time!"

Annabeth's eyes bulged. "Are you KIDDING? You're sending this to Olympus?"

"Oh, I ever joke about anything, sweetie," Leo said. "Well, I do, but not this time. The gods are gonna love seeing the great heroes of the prophecy and their great mistakes! Bad Boy Supreme strikes again!"

Jason put his head in his hands. "I'm done for."

"On the bright side, Poseidon will appreciate my love for the Little Mermaid," Percy said. "I wore an Ariel costume on Halloween when I was six."

"You...what?" Annabeth said in disbelief. 

"Yep," he said cheerfully. "My mother is so proud of me. Aren't you, Mom?"

Percy got a text from Sally Jackson. He frowned. "She says she thought I wasn't right in the brain at the time. Thanks for believing in me, Mom."

"Uh, back to the game," Leo said. "Grover, choose a victim."

"Okay," Grover said. "Thalia, truth or dare?"
