And I'd never forget her.

Kim woke up with someone shaking her body. Napaupo si Kim as she rubbed her eyes and gave out a small yawn. She looked around her until she saw the person who woke her up.
" Ate Kim, finally! May lakad pa tayo today! "
It was her pamangkin, Jessa, who woke her up. Naalala niya nga na nag plano sila to bond today. Jessa is 18 years old and truthfully, she's the closest to Kim.
Kim smiled before asking.
" Ano oras na ba? "
" 10:00 na po! Sabi niyo 11 pupunta na tayo doon sa cafe. " Jessa pouted.
Kim just laughed and apologized. Yes, she overslept. Halata naman at nahiya siya dahil si Jessa ay bihis na bihis na at siya ay nasa kama pa din.
" Sige, maliligo na ako. Did you ask premission na ba sa mom mo? " Kim asked, standing up and grabbing the towel and some clothes.
Jessa nodded. Kim told her to just wait for her na lang inside the room as she went in the bathroom to take a shower.

It was a little bit after 11 when they finally headed towards the coffee shop Kim told Jessa about. That coffee shop is special to Kim. Malapit lang naman ang bahay nila dito at kaya naglakad na lang sila.
It was sunny, the sun was high up in the sky, and Kim was thankful because she just chose to wear a thin white shirt and some khaki shorts. At least 'di siya masyadong pagpapawisin.
" Ate Kim, bilisan na natin or else lalo kang masusunog! "
Binatukan naman ni Kim si Jessa who was busy laughing. Kim just laughed along with her.
" Teka, how did you know about the coffee shop ba, ate Kim? "
Kim smiled as if remembering faint memories. Actually, she was. Remembering her comes in flashbacks and echoes.
" Someone special told me about it. We used to come here every time. "
Kim told Jessa as they finally stopped in front of the coffee shop.
The bell rang when they went in and immediately, naramdaman ni Kim yung familiar aura na dala nung coffee shop when she used to come here. Ang tagal na rin bago siya naka punta ulit dito.
Kim smiled when she saw a familiar face welcome her.
" Kim! Oh my, is that you? "
Kim laughed as she told Jessa to find a table for them. Jessa agreed as Kim approached the person with open arms.
" Uy, Miks! Haha, long time no see! " Kim said.
Mika Reyes, one of the employees na matagal na nag tratrabaho dito sa coffee shop na ito, has gotten close with Kim when she and her used to go here everytime. Along with one of Mika's co workers, Carol.
Kim has missed hanging out with them and she knows na hindi porket na nagkahiwalay na sila, ay hindi na siya dadalaw dito. Sa totoo lang, Kim just don't want to rekindle old memories that they made here.
