Chapter 3: What about your tattoo?
Autumns P.O.VWe needed to talk?
I don't know why, but I started to get nervous.
Dylan made his way over to his bed and sat against the headboard with both hands behind his back.
I just stood there awkwardly. Dylan just sat back and studied me.
I started to feel weird and nervous under his stare.
"You wanted to talk." I said softly, shifting from foot to foot. "What is it?"
He studied me for a little bit more and then, "This whole dating thing between you and I."
Why did feel even more nervous? Did I do something wrong?
"This morning, you did really good. I didn't Think you had that in you."
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
"What are yo-Oh." I remembered our encounter with Alexis.
"But," He sat up and cocked his head to the side, "you seem really scared. Do I scare you, Autumn?" He asked and I could sense the hint of amusement in his voice.
I held in my snort. I could tell by his arrogance, he expected people to be scared or intimidated by him, and they probably were. Well, I'm not like most people.
I didn't find Dylan scary. I also didn't find him intimidating. I did find him mysterious. Theres something about him that I don't know, along with with all the other things I still have to find out.
I shook my head. "I'm not scared of you, Dylan. Just curious." I shrugged at the last part, all my nervousness leaving my body.
He gave me a cautious look before clearing his throat. "Whatever." He stood up from his bed and handed me the water bottle he went out to get me.
"You don't have to hold back, Autumn." He started stepping closer to me. That nervousness started aiming back to me.
Oh shit.
"I want you to show me everything. I can read you, Autumn." He was so close, our faces were inches apart and I could feel his breathe on my skin. I hated how it made my body hot and bothered. "I can see you. All of you. The real you." He smirked when let out a breathy gasp. "The real you, Autumn. And I can tell, you want to know the real me." I raised an eyebrow.
How did he know- you know what, It doesn't even surprise me that he knows that.
I frowned. "Just tell me what your deal is." I groaned. He knew that I knew nothing about him and he was teasing me. I just wanted to know more about him, dammit.
"Aww, are you frustrated, baby girl?" He faked pouted.
Baby girl.
I rolled my eyes at him. "Yes. I am frustrated. You keep teasing me." I whined.
He grinned. "I keep teasing you." He repeated like he was thinking about something. "And your frustrated.... sexually right?"
I glared at him. "Shut up." He laughed. A deep laugh that made my heart skip.
"Okay, so what do you want to know?" He asked me.
I shrugged. "You know the little things about me. I want to know the little things about you. I already know that your a boxer, you have an older brother, which attended this university, and you have a bad habit of smoking."
His eyes widened. "How'd you-" I waved him off.
"Doesn't matter." I sat on The edge of the bed and he sat next to me. "Start talking."
