The sun was streaming through the balconies clear doors. I climbed out of bed and gave a small stretch and then headed over to my wardrobe and chose an outfit for the day. I chose a blue short sleeved shirt with a big peace sign on the front and 'peace out' on the back. I picked out a pair of loose track shorts and the put my hair up in a messy bun.
Once downstairs I made myself some toast and then sat on the couch and stared out the clear windows at the people walking their dogs and running along the footpath. I smiled at the way people would stop and talk to the passer-buyers, we never did that in England! if someone stopped to talk to you they were classified as 'weirdos' and we all know what they are.....
I washed my dish and them dried it. After rummaging through the cupboard I found a packet of microwave popcorn. I cooked the food and then added some icing sugar then walked up stairs and into my room to watch a movie. I flicked through my movie case and picked out Collage Road Trip. I slumped down into one of the bean bags in front of the large screen and enjoyed the movie, and of course the popcorn.
"Bee" Dad called from downstairs after the movie was done
"Yeahhhh" I screamed
"I'm right here" he laughed coming through the door
"Oh sorry" I giggled
"I was wondering if you wanna come with me to Toby's parents place" Dad asked
"Yeah!" I said enthusiastically
"Okay let's go!" Dad smiled
"Hang on I need to change!"
"Oh pack some bathers were going to the beach after okay?" dad said in a question then walked back downstairs
I changed into a pair of board shorts that had the English Flag on them with a matching bikini and the loose shirt with the 'love me or hate me' on it and put my blue vans with white stars.
I grabbed my American flag sunnies and let my hair down and put the sunnies on the top of my head. I quickly grabbed my phone and then ran down stairs.
"Took ya long enough" dad laughed
"Smart ass" I muttered
"What was that?" Dad smirked with an eyebrow raised
"Nothing daddy" I smiled
He gave a small laugh then got in the car and started to drive. We sat in a comfortable silence. Dad turned the radio up but it was some silly Justin Bieber song (Sorry guys If you like JB) so dad turned it off again. And we drive in a comfortable silence
"Bee!" Toby screamed as he ran over and opened the door
"Tobs!" I laughed as he pulled me into a hug
"You didn't text!" he pouted
"Yeah sorry" I smiled cheekily
"I hate you" he poured again with a wink
"No you dont" I said again and pushed him in the shoulder to turn him around
I've been at Toby's for almost an hour and all we've done is talk and play board games. And the occasional selfies
"Wanna go to my friends house?" Toby asked suddenly
"Um?" I questioned
"Oh he has a pool" he smiled at my slight confusion
"Yeah!" I yelled standing up
"Okay let's go!" he laughed again and led me out the back door
"TRENNTTTTTTT" Toby screamed as he went through the door of a house two doors down I love how he didn't know just opened the door and stringed down the hallway
