"Bee just wanted to come and make things right" Dad smiled proudly as he squeezed me a little as his arm was around me

"That is so sweet!" Tobys mum, Eileen exclaimed "I always knew she was a keeper"

I giggled politely and I could feel a blush creeping to my cheeks.

"Is his room still in the same place?" I asked politely

"You betcha, your dad and I will be down in the kitchen if you need anything"

I nodded a thanks and kissed dad on the check before pushing my way past and towards Tobys room.

"Knock knock" i muttered to him as I came to a halt in front of his open room.

"Hey" he said, obviously surprised to see me

"I just wanted... I just wanted to" I kept trailing off
Maybe this was a stupid idea after all.
No.
I am going to fix this. Toby was my first real friend.

"We have to fix what was broken awhile ago, re-kindle our friendship"

He was silent for a long time. Making my mind go over time again.

See he doesn't even want me back!
I knew this was stupid
What was I thinking?!

Leave
It was silly to think he would take me back
Just slowly turn around and-

My thoughts were cut off as Toby wrapped his arms around me tightly and nuzzled his head into my hair.

"I've been waiting ages to feel this again" I giggled, my head in the crook of his neck.

"Me to believe me! I'm really sorry about uhm Hailey..."

"Toby it's fine! I'm just glad we're friends again"

"Me to Bee. Me to"

"So you and Hailey?"

"I broke it off with Hailey when you saw us at the fair Bee"

"But she was still around" i murmured

"Bee you've spoken to me since your accident" he replied

I thought for a moment. I don't remember that at all.

"I don't remember seeing you since the fair at all"

"I've been helping you get your memory back Bee"

"Oh"

Well this is awkward.

"You know what I don't even care!" I exclaimed "the past is the pass and I don't care whats happened"

Toby smiled and hugged me tightly

"I love you bee, always have" he whispered in my ear

"I love you to toby"
